A medicament injection device comprising a main body arranged to receive a medicament cartridge; a needle carrier carrying a needle, wherein the needle carrier is axially movable with respect to the main body; and a rotatable cap at a distal end of the device, wherein the cap is removably coupled to the needle carrier, a releasable arrangement between the main body and the cap comprising a guide element and a slotted link, wherein the slotted link is arranged to cause the guide element to follow a predefined path at least partly in an axial direction during rotational movement of the cap, thereby causing the needle carrier to move axially towards a proximal end of the device as the cap is rotated up to a predefined point, wherein the main body comprises a medicament cartridge holder comprising the guide element depending therefrom for engagement with the cap.

Medicament injection device

Described is a medicament delivery device (), comprising a body (), a container carrier () for retaining a medicament container within the body () and being slidably disposed in the body (), a sleeve () slidably coupled to body (), and a piston rod () coupled to the body () and the container carrier (). Medicament delivery device

Described is a medicament delivery device (), comprising a body (), a container carrier () for retaining a medicament container within the body () and being slidably disposed in the body (), a sleeve () slidably coupled to body (), and a piston rod () coupled to the body () and the container carrier (). The piston rod () and the container carrier () provide a feedback asthe container carrier () moves from a first position (P) to a second position (P) relative to the body ().

The mixing system includes an adaptor, an integrated injection device removably attached to the adaptor comprising a switching element, a first reservoir containing a fluidic first material, and a trigger. The adaptor includes a first attachment location configured to attach a vial. The vial contains a second material within a second reservoir, wherein the second material contains a medicament formulation. The adaptor also includes a first connection element, a flow channel providing fluid communication of the switching element and the first connection element, a sensing arrangement for detecting a pre-defined position of the vial at the first attachment location, and an interlock element which is configured to allow operation of the trigger in order to establish a fluid communication between the first connection element and the first reservoir only if the sensing arrangement detects the pre-defined position of the vial at the first attachment location.

An injection device comprises a housing for holding a syringe that has a needle at one end and (ii) a cap that is removably attached to the housing and that has a needle shield to cover said needle. The cap further comprises an actuator and a gear assembly comprising first and second linear gears and a double gear. The gear assembly is configured such that movement of the first linear gear in a first direction rotates the double gear to drive the second linear gear to urge the needle shield away from the housing. The actuator is configured to move the first linear gear in the first direction.

A capsule for holding ingredients for the production of a beverage has a capsule body, which is at least partly covered on a top side of the capsule by a cover and which surrounds a first chamber for holding a first ingredient. In addition, the capsule has a chamber wall, which surrounds a channel-shaped cavity, which extends from the top side of the capsule to a bottom side of the capsule. The capsule further has a valve element, with which a first outlet opening of the first chamber can be opened at the chamber wall by a rod inserted into the cavity from the top side of the capsule, so that the ingredients can flow from the first chamber via the cavity and out of the capsule at the bottom side of the capsule.

The present disclosure relates to cap for an injection device. The cap includes a needle shield and a conduit. The needle shield includes a body with a recess for receiving part of a needle syringe. The conduit is movable from an initial position, wherein a portion of the body is located between the recess and the conduit, to a cap removal position, wherein the conduit extends through said portion of the body to fluidly communicate with the recess to allow the ingress of gas into the recess.

An injection device comprising: a housing arranged to contain a medicament cartridge; a needle holder holding an injection needle; a generally tubular needle sleeve fixed with respect to the needle holder and axially movable with respect to the housing; and a gear assembly comprising a rotary gear fixed to the needle holder, a first gear rack disposed on the needle sleeve and a second gear rack disposed on the housing, wherein the gear assembly is arranged so that movement of the needle sleeve in a proximal axial direction causes movement of the needle holder in the proximal axial direction.
