The invention relates to a method of calculating an electrical output of a wind power plant comprising a plurality of wind turbines. Instead of calculating the electrical output of the wind power plant as a simple aggregation of the outputs of each wind turbine, the method takes into account parameters which may vary stochastically throughout the wind power plant, e.g. pitch angle, stiffness in drive train, different possible production with regard to reactive and active effect, mechanical component properties as well as variability in relation to communication times between a power plant controller and the individual wind turbines. The method proposes to make adjustment to a simple aggregation calculation method based on analysis of such stochastic varying parameters.

Method of calculating an electrical output of a wind power plant

The present invention relates to a method and a system for on-site and full-scale testing of wind turbine plants. In particular, the present invention relates to a method and a system applying resonance circuits tuned with the fundamental frequency, or harmonics thereof, of a power supply grid connected to a wind turbine plant to be tested. The wind turbine plant to be tested may remain connected to the power supply grid during on-site and full-scale testing.

The present invention relates to a method for controlling a voltage level of a power supply grid operationally connected to a source of electrical power, the method comprising the steps of determining a short circuit impedance of the power supply grid at a point of common coupling, calculating, using the determined short circuit impedance, a gain value of the power supply grid, and controlling the grid voltage level in accordance with the calculated gain value by applying said gain value as a gain parameter in a voltage controller. The method according to the present invention may be implemented as a method for configuring a voltage controller once and for all, or it may be implemented as a method for adaptively adjusting a gain of a voltage controller.

A self-starting fuel cell assembly and methods of starting fuel cells are disclosed. In at least certain examples, the fuel cell assembly can be configured to supply voltage to a fuel source, an air source or both. The fuel cell assembly further includes a control system configured to detect an output voltage of the fuel cell stack. The control system can be further configured to control at least one of the air source and the fuel source to control the output voltage in a working stage and in a start-up stage.
