The invention relates to a box carrier having a contact surface for transporting flat cutouts, or sleeves, and folding boxes produced from the same. According to the invention at least one suction opening, which can be connected to a vacuum source, is disposed in the contact surface.

Box carrier

An apparatus having approximately parallel conveyors (') for transporting and rotating an article (G) has multiple longitudinally arranged omnidirectional rollers (), each omnidirectional roller () having multiple individual rollers () arranged about its periphery. The conveyors (&#x2032;) extend in a transporting direction (T), bear against the bottom of the article (G), and rotate the article about an axis perpendicular to the article bearing plane. At least one conveyor can be driven at a speed different from the other conveyor to transport and rotate the article on the conveyor. The bearing portion of article (G) is subject to direction-dependent coefficients of friction with the transporting direction (T) having a static or sliding coefficient of friction that is higher than the rolling coefficient of friction in the direction perpendicular (S) to the transporting direction (T).

Apparatus for rotating an article

An apparatus for removing a folding-box blank (Z) from a magazine and for erecting the same has a first retaining means () with means () for gripping a first box wall (W) of the blank (Z) and a second retaining means () with means () for gripping a second, adjacent box wall (W) located on the same side of the blank (Z). The two retaining means () can be moved relative to one another in order to erect the box. This allows the folding-box blank to be removed and erected in a space-saving and efficient manner.

Apparatus for removing and erecting a folding-box blank

An apparatus for charging containers includes a first conveyor for advancing items; a second conveyor for continuously advancing containers; a charging device including first and second chutes each having an inlet adjoining the discharge end of the first conveyor and an outlet positioned above the second conveyor. The first and second chutes adjoin one another in a direction parallel to the conveying direction of the second conveyor. A drive shifts the charging device and the discharge end of the first conveyor relative to one another for selectively aligning the inlet of the first chute or the inlet of the second chute with the discharge end for selectively introducing items from the first conveyor into the first or second chute. A sensor detects items advanced on the first conveyor. A control device is connected to the sensor and the drive for operating the drive based on the sensor signals.
