A securing device for securing a screening panel to a support frame of a vibrating screen assembly. The securing device has a body with a securing means at one end and a stub at the lower end. The securing means is shaped to mate with a complementary securing cavity in the screening panel and has a hole that receives a pin located in the securing cavity. The stub may be threaded to engage the support frame.

Screen securing device

A screen panel for use in a vibrating screen device. The screen panel has a plurality of in-flow slots and cross-flow slots arranged in a regular pattern to provide enhanced open area for a given slot size.

A screening assemblyincludes at least one railto be secured to a support member of a screening machine. At least one locating formationextends from an operatively upper surface of the rail. Each locating formationincludes a catch member. The assemblyfurther includes a plurality of screening modules, each screening modulehaving an end supported on the rail. A pair of moduleslie in end-to-end abutting relationship with the abutting ends overlying the railso that the catch memberof each locating formationprotrudes beyond an upper surface of the screening modules. Further, a locking memberengages the catch memberof the locating formationfor locking the pair of moduleswith respect to each other and with respect to the rail

Screening panel securing system

A screening assemblyincludes at least one railto be secured to a support member of a screening machine to lie parallel to, and intermediate, side members of the screening machine. At least one locating formationstands proud of an operatively upper surface of each rail. The assembly includes a plurality of screening modules. Each screening modulehas an end supported on the railso that a pair of moduleslie in end-to-end abutting relationship with the abutting ends, in use, overlying the railand defining a receiving formation through which the locating formationprotrudes to project beyond the receiving formation into a recessed region defined by the abutting ends of the pair of modules. A locking memberis associated with the receiving formation and is receivable in the recessed region for engaging its associated locating formation to lock the pair of modules with respect to each other and with respect to the rail. An upper surface of the locking member, when the locking member is received in the recessed region, lies substantially flush with upper surfaces of the modulesof the pair of modules.

A screening module for a screening assembly includes a substantially rectangular, planar screening member having a plurality of screening apertures extending through it the member having a pair of sides extending parallel to a direction of flow of material over the member and a pair of sides extending transverse to a direction of flow of material over the member. A mounting means is formed integrally with the screening member as a one-piece unit for securing the member to an underlying structure. A part of the mounting means is arranged along each side of the screening member and only the parts of the mounting means associated with one pair of sides having reinforcing with the parts of the mounting means associated with the other pair of sides being without reinforcing.
