Herein is reported a method for producing a fusion-polypeptide comprising the seeps of a) cultivating a mammalian cell comprising a nucleic acid encoding a variant fusion-polypeptide wherein the amino acid sequence of the fusion-polypeptide has been modified by replacing in a pro-fusion-polypeptide the endogenous protease cleavage site between the pro-peptide and the fusion-polypeptide with an exogenous (with respect to the origins of the parts of the fusion-polypeptide) or artificial protease cleavage site, and b) recovering the fusion-polypeptide or fusion-pro-polypeptide from the cell or the cultivation median and thereby producing the (recombinant) fusion-polypeptide.

Herein is reported a method for producing a fusion-polypeptide comprising the steps of a) cultivating a mammalian cell comprising a nucleic acid encoding a variant fusion-polypeptide wherein the amino acid sequence of the fusion-polypeptide has been modified by replacing in a pro-fusion-polypeptide the endogenous protease cleavage site between the pro-peptide and the fusion-polypeptide with an exogenous (with respect to the origins of the parts of the fusion-polypeptide) or artificial protease cleavage site, and b) recovering the fusion-polypeptide or fusion-pro-polypeptide from the cell or the cultivation medium and thereby producing the (recombinant) fusion-polypeptide.

A method and apparatus for forming stacks of printed products supplied in an overlapping flow by an endless conveyor to a stacking shaft. A main stack is formed on a stack support in the stacking shaft. An auxiliary rake is moved from an idle position outside of the stacking shaft to an end position inside the stacking shaft. The stack support is lowered to form an intermediate space below the auxiliary rake between the main stack and a partial stack. An intermediate element is extended into the intermediate space to an end position in the stacking shaft. The printed products are deposited on the intermediate element or on previously deposited printed products, wherein a partial stack forms on the intermediate element. The main stack is carried away from the stacking shaft and the auxiliary rake is retracted to its idle position. Thereafter the intermediate element is retracted to an idle position outside of the stacking shaft to transfer the partial stack, formed so far, as a new main stack to the stack support.

Method and apparatus for forming stacks of printed products supplied in an overlapping flow

A chair with a tilting seat and a back piece carried by a back support, wherein a bearing block is provided, in which an eccentric cam can rotate, a rod passes eccentrically through the eccentric cam and is connected to it without the ability to rotate, and at one end it is connected to a handle by which it can be turned. An arm is provided in which the rod is mounted such that it can turn. The tilting of the seat can be adjusted in more than just two positions and the adjustments are secured against unintentional change. The bearing block is provided on the back support and the arm on the bottom side of the seat, a detent sleeve is joined to the aforementioned end of the rod, unable to rotate, but able to slide along the rod between a first and a second position. The detent sleeve in the first position engages by detent apparatus fashioned on it with mating detent apparatus on the seat, in the second position, the detent apparatus on the detent sleeve are disengaged from the mating detent apparatus on the seat and spring-loaded against the first position. The handle is joined to the detent sleeve without being able to rotate.

Chair with tilting seat

A back rest for a chair with a back support and a back surface secured to the back support and able to swivel about a two-axis joint. The joint has a joint plate connected to the back surface, an element made of an elastic material that supports the joint in a ground position, and a chamber to accommodate the elastic element, connected to the back support. The joint plate is arranged in the receiving chamber between two elements made from an elastic material, holding the joint in a ground position and each being supported against the receiving chamber, and it can swivel about the two swivel axes. When the joint is placed under load, the two elastic elements are only subjected to compression. There are no tension-loaded connections which break under loading and can result in the joint falling apart.

An arched metal-ceramic substrate with one ceramic layer and with a metal coating provided on the top and bottom of the ceramic layer which is curved around at least one axis parallel to the plane of the substrate such that it forms a convexly curved surface on the bottom. The thickness of the metal coatings on the top and bottom of the arched ceramic layer is the same.

A process is provided where a ceramic metal substrate is produced by attaching metal foils on either side a ceramic layer to form metal layers and for producing a through connection by placing metal in an opening to form a bridge so that the metal layers are electrically connected together by direct bonding, and a metal body is inserted into the opening to almost fill it, while a surface of the metal body is provided with a layer with chemical compound of metal and reactive gas.
