In a device that can be walked on or driven on, for example for bridging under bridges requiring renovation or for bridging over streets, a web that can be walked on is connected to handrails via transverse struts. In this case, the web that can be walked on and/or the transverse struts and/or the handrails comprise extruded aluminum profiles.

A multiple substrate is provided having a large area individual base layer with multiple substrates, for electrical circuits formed thereon. Individual substrates are defined by score lines in the base layer, and include a fragment of the base layer and at least one metal coating is provided on at least one surface of the fragment and has areas which stabilize the multiple substrates against unwanted breaking. Several individual substrates are preformed along peripheral sides of the base layer, and at least one metal coating on each individual substrate projects over the peripheral side.

A heat spreader formed of copper or copper alloys is direct bonded to an electronic device package which includes a multilayer substrate formed of alternating layers of ceramic and metallic plating.

For the manufacture of a power semiconductor module, one proceeds from a ceramic base board on which copper plates and copper conductor paths are fastened by a suitable method. The ceramic base plate is then scratched and broken. As a result, ceramic side boards are produced which are connected to the base board via conductive paths. The side boards are then swung up, as a result of which the conductive paths fastened on the side boards come into a plane above the base plane. By means of suitable, possibly multiple, breaking and folding of the side boards and suitable development of the ends of the conductive paths, the connecting poles of the power semiconductor chips can be directly contacted. Electronic circuits can be arranged on the side boards.

In a device for moving a loading tailgate or similar swivelable body on, for example, a loading platform (1) of a vehicle, the loading tailgate is connected to a drive (3) via struts (5, 6) or support struts. In this case, at least two struts (5, 6) are to have, on the one hand, separate linkage points (7, 52) with the loading tailgate (4) and, on the other hand, they are to be connected to coupling profiles (30, 31) of the drive (3) rotating about a longitudinal axis (11).

In a method of producing stiffening profiles, particularly of reduced weight, for example for robot arms, transmission parts, bicycle frames, loading tailgates, crossing tailgates or the like, the stiffening profile is extruded in its contours and configurations at right angles to its plane and the stiffening profiles are then cut off in a required thickness.

A disk grinding machine includes a grinding disk (5a), driven by a driving shaft. A handle projects laterally out of a machine housing and is covered by the machine housing. A dust suction installation with a suction hood is provided which covers the upper side of the grinding disk and overlaps its circumference. The installation contains a suction chamber having a bristle rim at its lower end which is fastened to the machine housing. The bristle rim extends only over a part of the circumference of the suction hood. The grinding dust is picked up through the area between the circumference of the grinding disk and the bristle rim and to the suction chamber (11a). The upper part of the suction hood is connected to the machine casing and a lower part of the hood is disposed pivotally and independent from the grinding disk and it supports a bristle rim. A handle for the machine comprises a control grip which is in a driving connection with the lower part of the hood through a drive.

Disk grinding (sanding) machine

A jig or sabre saw has a horizontal foot to be placed on the work to be sawn. A drive unit is pivotally mounted on the foot and drives the tool in a tool holder. The two sides of the saw or other tool are supported by a guide device at points directly above the foot. The guide device is adapted to pivot with the drive unit so support the saw blade even when performing bevel cuts. The guide device and the drive unit may be arranged to pivot about two axes or about a single axis in relation to the foot.

Jig saw

A guide arrangement for portable power saws is made up of a guide plate adapted to be placed on the work and a stand plate fixed to the saw. The guide plate possesses a raised rail running in the feed direction of the saw. In use, the saw with the stand plate is placed on the guide plate so that a socket in the stand plate fits round the rail and the stand plate may then be moved along the guide plate on the rail, the guiding section straddling the rail and guiding the stand plate on the rail. The stand plate is fitted with a backlash limiter having an operating part acting against the side of the rail for reducing play between the rail and the stand plate. This means that the saw is guided in the length direction parallel to the rail of the guide plate and it is possible for straight cuts to be sawn with a high degree of accuracy without any danger of the saw running askew. The backlash limiter may take the form of a spring loaded member or one driven by a screw or threaded rod. Alternatively the member may have a slot to allow adjustment thereof in relation to the rail.

Guide arrangement for a portable power saw

A compass saw comprises a drive unit for a saw blade holder carrying a saw blade, and a base plate supporting the drive unit. The base plate has on its underside a glide shoe lined on a bottom face with a contact sole. The guide shoe is provided to guide the blade at the level of the base plate, more particularly close above the contact sole, laterally to an extract such as to prevent it from deviating from the desired course, as well from canting and coming into off position.

A guide device for a hand circular saw or the like has a guide plate with a non-slip coating on its lower face to make contact with the work, and a foot plate running along the guide plate and carrying the saw or the like thereon. The foot plate has a recess thereon which enables it to completely straddle the guide plate while giving lateral guidance. In the recess there are spring loaded rollers or shoes pressing on the guide plate.

Guide for a hand power tool

A chip collecting device for a routing tool is in the form of a hood or box having a wall surrounding part of the circumference of the routing bit. Chips thrown tangentially outwards from the bit are guided by the wall onto an upwardly sloping ramp when they pass into the suction current of a dust aspirating means that acts in an upward direction adjacent to the bit. The chip collecting hood or box is mounted on the lower side of an L-shaped stop in rails. The stop has a passage for the chips placed over the ramp.

Router tool

A router comprises a cage supporting a drive unit having a shaft on which a cutter can be fixed. A rest plate is provided with an aperture for moving the cutter therethrough. The rest plate is connected to the cage through two guide columns on which it is displaceable in axial directions of the cutter and arrestable in a selected position. The rest plate is a hollow structure open downwardly where it is closed by a detachable cover having a smooth outer surface. A cavity of the plate communicates with and encircles the aperture 21 for the cutter and grows toward an exhaust connection which extends tangentially to the cutter, i.e. in the direction in which the millings are thrown. The exhaust connection can be connected to an exhauster. Laterally on the rest plate, an adjustable slide stop may be provided having an angled leg which can be brought into a position flush with the bottom surface of the rest plate or moved downward therefrom. A chip screen is mounted for adjustable movement toward and away from the rest plate.

The spindle can be rotated by way of a set wheel, and thus displaced within the spindle guide. At the end of this displacement, the spindle butts against one of the set screws of a turret stop provided on the rest plate. The spindle can be locked to the respective set screw by way of a swing extension. The spindle may be hollow to pass therethrough a tool and finely adjust the set screw already locked to the spindle.

A bench has a driving unit on which abrading or polishing tools may be fixed. The unit is mounted on two cradles on the bench so that it may be rocked between an upright and a level position. The frame of the bench is made up of lengths of section and the bench top and the cradles may be slidingly moved thereon.
