The present invention may include a cleanser having a liposome and greater than about 40 weight percent of a solvent. The liposome may be loaded with the solvent more than about 7 days after the manufacture of the liposome. The solvent may be an isoprenoid or ester solvent. Furthermore, the solvent may be d-limonene or a dibasic ester. In addition, the liposome may be selected from the group consisting of large unilamellar vesicles, multilamellar vesicles, paucilamellar vesicles, and small unilamellar vesicles. Desirably, the liposome is a paucilamellar vesicle. Desirably, the cleanser may have a solvent weight percent greater than about 60. More desirably, the cleanser may have a weight percent of solvent greater than about 80. Moreover, the solvent is about a 1:1 weight ratio of d-limonene and dibasic ester.

Cleanser

A hand cleansing article comprising a substrate capable of absorbing and retaining a fluid therein is provided. The substrate is impregnated with an aqueous hand cleanser formulation that includes (a) 1 to 10% by weight of a fatty acid ester or mixture of such esters; (b) 1 to 10% by weight of at least one emulsifying surfactant; and (c) from 75 to 99% by weight of water.

Hand cleanser

A dispenser of wet wipes from a coreless log includes a semi-cylindrical chimney member in the lid of the container that houses the log or houses a refill cartridge in which the log is disposed. The chimney member is disposed and configured to shelter the main portion of a dispensing opening without sealing the dispensing opening. The chimney member influences the user to extract the wipe in a way that reduces the wasteful incidence of streaming of wipes from the log.

Disclosed is a process of manufacturing a water-based adhesive bonded, solvent resistant protective laminate utilizing the steps of: providing a film having a first surface and a second surface; depositing a discontinuous coating of a cross-linkable; carboxylated styrene-butadiene rubber latex adhesive on the first surface of the film, the latex adhesive containing an effective amount of a cross-linking agent; joining a fibrous nonwoven web into intimate bonding contact with the film and adhesive; and removing water from the adhesive thereby causing cross-linking at reactive sites. The adhesive may be deposited utilizing gravure printing techniques and is desirably deposited at a rate greater than about 2 grams per square meter of film. Also disclosed is an adhesively bonded, solvent resistant protective laminate produced by the process. The film component of the laminate may be composed of a thermoset polymer or a thermoplastic polymer. The film may also be microporous or microapertured. The nonwoven fibrous web component may be selected from bonded carded webs, spunbonded webs, webs of meltblown fibers, multi-ply fibrous webs containing the same type of fibrous web, and multi-ply fibrous webs containing different types of fibrous webs.

Process of manufacturing a water-based adhesive bonded, solvent

The present invention provides an aqueous cleanser formulation comprising a blend of paramenthadienes together with one or more surfactants and/or solubilisers. Such a formulation has been found to be capable of removing a wide range of heavy soils from the skin surface whilst leaving minimal residual odour.

There is disclosed a thermally bonded spunbond web of thermoplastic filaments and a nonwoven fabric laminate comprising an internal layer of meltblown thermoplastic microfibers sandwiched between two layers of spunbond thermoplastic filaments. The spunbond web and the spunbond layers of the fabric laminate consist of thermoplastic filaments which are formed from a mixture of a thermoplastic polymer and an effective amount of a nucleating agent. The layers are bonded by thermal spot bonding. In the preferred embodiment, the thermoplastic polymer is polypropylene with a melt-flow rate of at 230.degree. C. of or greater than 12 grams per ten minutes. Also in the preferred embodiment, the nucleating agent constitutes from about 0.1 to 0.3 percent by weight of the mixture of polypropylene and nucleating agent. The nucleating agents that are useful include dibenzylidene sorbitol, di(methylbenzylidene) sorbitol, bis (p-ethylbenzylidene) sorbitol and hydrophobic, fumed silica having particle sizes up to 1 micron in diameter. The nonwoven laminate is particularly useful in manufacturing work garments and other protective apparel having enhanced durability.

Garment of a durable nonwoven fabric

Nonwoven material comprising a web of spunbonded polymer filaments in combination with at least one other spunbond or meltblown nonwoven layer with the combination impregnated with a stabilizing agent and the spunbond layer having been hot calendered to improve surface abrasion resistance. Preferred embodiments using a coating bath also including a surfactant and smooth calendering.

Non-woven fabric comprising at least one spunbonded layer

Garment of durable nonwoven fabric

Non-woven material useful for example for disposable wipers and the like which comprises a layer of meltblown polymeric microfibers inter-mixed with fibres of absorbent material and/or absorbent or super-absorbent particles, the absorbent fibres and/or particles being inter-connected by and held captive within the polymeric microfibres matrix of fibres by mechanical entanglement and interconnection of the microfibres/absorbent fibres, (when present), and at least one layer of meltblown polymeric microfibres, the layers being bonded together ultrasonically or by the application of heat or heat and pressure to cause the microfibres in one layer to bond to the microfibres in an adjacent layer so as to produce fuse bonds extending through the material. Such material can readily absorb fluids including oil, and can subsequently be squeezed out readily. The material also has an integral strength and a substantially lint free wiping surface.
