The apparatus and method for measuring the amount of dissolved organic carbon in a sample utilizes an oxidation chamber wherein the dissolved organic carbon is ionized and a separate measuring chamber whereby an oxygen containing gas is pumped between the two chambers. The process water to be measured is used as both the reference water and sample.

An apparatus for automatically selectively introducing successive samples of a liquid from at least one pressurized line into a receiving funnel having an outlet port and at least one inlet port. The receiving funnel has main receiving chamber for receiving liquid samples and a sensing device is also provided in the receiving funnel for sensing the level of liquid present in the receiving funnel for controlling flow in and out of the funnel.

Apparatus for measuring content of organic carbon

Forming a film by spraying onto a heated substrate an atomized solution containing the appropriate salt of a constituent element of the film and an agent in sufficient amount to change the oxidation state of at least one solute element of the spray solution after contacting the heated substrate.
