The Invention is a tray for serving a beverage in a nightclub or tavern. A tray body defines a reservoir adapted to contain a beverage. A reservoir aperture communicates through the tray body and is controlled by a valve. A dispensing opening is defined by the bottom side of the tray body and aligns the drinking vessel with the reservoir aperture. The valve is actuated when a drinking vessel is placed in engagement with the dispensing opening. A plurality of drinking vessel receptacles located on the top side of the tray are adapted to support drinking vessels.

A pivoting handlebar assembly for a cycle is characterized by a pair of handlebars and a mechanical linkage system that permit the handlebars to be moved with relative ease from one to the other of a rearward outboard position and a forward inboard position while the cycle is in motion. The assembly includes means for assuring that the two handlebars will move in unison with one another relative to a central support. A trigger and cable-operated lock mechanism is provided for releasably locking the handlebars against pivotal movement.

A drinking vessel includes an interior portion that holds pellets or chips of dry ice that cool a beverage in the glass while the beverage is being consumed. The interior portion can be a part of the glass or it can be a detached piece usable in different vessels. Either way the interior portion includes holes that allow the beverage to freely flow around the dry ice while the holes are small enough to prevent the dry ice from entering the portion of the vessel where it could be accidentally consumed.

The present invention relates to a dumbbell support device which can be hung from the crossbar of a weight rack or from a weight belt and a system for using the device. One end of the device can hang over the crossbar of a weight rack, while the opposite end, which includes a non-slip strap, can receive the dumbbell. The device consists of a frame having two S-shaped members, a perpendicular bar member attaching said S-shaped members, and a non-slip strap located parallel to the perpendicular bar member and perpendicular to the S-shaped members and removably attached to one end of the S-shaped members. The device can include a weight belt having at least one unitary J-shaped member, to which the device may be attached, along with a weight rack having an adjustable crossbar and a floor plate.

A wrist or forearm support for a person operating a computer input device such as a computer mouse comprising a plurality of balls and a housing for captivating the balls so that they are capable of multi-directional rotational movement. The balls protrude through an opening in the housing in position to be engaged by and support a wrist or forearm that extends over said housing, thereby facilitating multi-directional motion of the supported wrist or forearm.

A brake assembly for a cycle is provided which comprises a pair of caliper brake arms each having a pocket for receiving a portion of a brake pad, and a brake pad unit engaged with the brake arms, the brake pad unit comprising two brake pads carried by a spring which acts against the two brake arms so as to bias those brake arms in a direction to move the brake pads away from one another and the wheel which they are intended to engage. The brake assembly is installed in a fork crown which is adapted to be attached to a steerer tube in the case of a front wheel application or to a part of a cycle frame in the case of a rear wheel application, In a front wheel application, the fork crown accommodates part of a cable-driven mechanism for operating the brake arms, whereby to effect braking of the cycle.

A bicycle stem assembly comprising a bicycle stem having a novel ways for securing it to an unthreaded bicycle fork steerer tube, the novel means featuring a castellated bushing for pre-loading the upper bearing for the steerer tube and a clamp carried by the stem for selectively locking the stem and bushing to the steerer tube.

A suspension system for a skate including a shoe and a truck device. The suspension system includes a four bar linkage having a forward mount connectable to the shoe; a rearward mount connectable to the shoe, a first double pivot mechanism interconnecting the forward mount with the truck device, and a second double pivot mechanism interconnecting the rearward mount with the truck device. A shock absorber subsystem biases the position of the truck device relative to the shoe.

A roller skate shock absorber system in at least two double pivot mechanisms spaced longitudinally from front to back along a skate shoe; a truck device including a plurality of wheels interconnected with the double pivot mechanisms; each of the double pivot mechanisms including a first pivot mounted to the skate shoe, a pivot member rotatably connected to the first pivot and having a second pivot rotatably attached to the truck device; and at least one resilient member disposed between the skate shoe and the truck mechanism for biasing at least one of the pivot mechanisms with its first and second pivots generally vertically aligned to provide a firm push-off force.

A novel brake assembly is provided for a cycle. The cycle is provided with at least one portion having cavities therein, and the brake assembly includes a brake actuator mounted on the cycle, a pair of brake calipers mounted in the cavities and pivotally attached to the cycle, a caliper-actuating body, and a motion transfer assembly coupled to and movable by the brake actuator. The caliper actuating body is connected to the motion transfer assembly. The calipers are provided with with first and second arm portions, each of the first arm portions having thereon a ramp surface engaged with the body, and each of the second arm portions being configured to receive and retain a brake pad. The calipers are pivoted by the caliper-actuating body, acting on the ramp surfaces in response to movement of the motion transfer assembly, so as to move the calipers in a direction that brings the brake pads into engagement with a wheel of the cycle, so as to exert a braking force on the cycle. A spring urges the calipers to pivot in a direction to move the brake pads away from the wheel.

A toy assembly 10 including a ray gun 12 capable of projecting a focused beam of light 25, and an electro-mechanically actuatable target figurine 14 including a body 46, a support 48 for supporting the body of the figurine in an upright position upon a surface, a light receiver 58, a toppling mechanism 60 for causing the figurine to topple over when operated, an energy source 82 within the figurine for powering the toppling mechanism, and a control circuit 78 for initiating the operation of the toppling mechanism when the light receiver is struck by a beam of light projected by the ray gun.
