A packaging band includes side edges, a divider fold line, a front panel extending in a first direction away from the divider fold line, and a rear panel extending in a second direction away from the divider fold line. The packaging band includes a front securement tab and a rear securement tab. The front securement tab is formed in the front panel and flexes relative to the front panel about a front panel fold line. The rear securement tab is formed in the rear panel and flexes relative to the rear panel about a rear panel fold line. The front securement tab and the rear securement tab each rotate about a corresponding one of the front panel fold line and the rear panel fold line to open toward a same one of the first direction and the second direction when the packaging band is laid substantially flat.

Packaging band and associated packaged product

A lamp assembly includes a base and a lamp socket supported by the base. The lamp socket has a cylindrical inner surface with screw threads formed thereon. A lamp holder has a socket portion and an arm portion. A lower part of the socket portion is inserted within the lamp socket and is held in place by the screw threads of the lamp socket. The arm portion extends laterally from an upper part of the socket portion. A lamp package containing a lamp at least partially encased in packaging is attached to the arm portion of the lamp holder.

Holding structure for light socket

A hanger, for supporting a retail item from a separate support structure, includes a support interface portion, a transverse section, an intermediate section, and a base section. The support interface portion is configured to selectively receive the separate support structure. The transverse section extends from the support interface portion and defines a bottom edge of the transverse section. The intermediate section extends from the transverse section. The base section extends downwardly from the intermediate section. The base section defines two side edges tapered toward one another such that a width of the base section gradually decreases as the base section extends away from the intermediate section. The base section is configured to partially deflect to slide through an elongated opening of the retail item such that during use the intermediate section and the base section are positioned on opposite sides of the elongated opening and the intermediate section extends through the elongated opening.

Retail product assembly with hanger

A retail assembly includes a product assembly for retail sale and a hanger. The product assembly defines rear surface and a footprint. The hanger includes an elongated plate, a hinge, and an extension member. The elongated plate defines a first elongated edge and a front surface coupled to the rear surface of the product assembly. The hinge extends from the first elongated edge. The extension member extends from the hinge in an opposite direction as the elongated plate and defines a support surface for interacting with a retail display. The hanger rotates about the hinge between an unfolded position and a folded position. When the hanger is in one of the folded position and the unfolded position, the extension member is maintained within the footprint of the product assembly. When the hanger is in the other position, the extension member extends outside the footprint of the product assembly.

Merchandise hanger and method of use

A merchandise hanger includes a base section, a living hinge, and a hooked section. The base section defines a front surface and a rear surface opposite the front surface and includes features configured to facilitate coupling the base section to the product assembly. The living hinge extends from the base section. The hooked section extends from the living hinge. The base section includes one of at least one male coupling structure and at least one female coupling structure. The hooked section includes the other of the at least one male coupling structure and the at least one female coupling structure. The merchandise hanger folds about the living hinge in a manner mating the at least one male coupling structure and the at least one female coupling structure to maintain the merchandise hanger in a folded position. A retail product assembly includes a retail product, a bracket coupled thereto and defining an opening between the retail product and the bracket, and a hanger. The hanger includes a hanging portion configured to receive a support structure, a cross bar, a drop portion, and a tapered portion. The cross bar extends from the hanging portion and is wider than the bracket. At least a portion of the cross bar extends below the topmost sidewall of the retail product. The drop portion extends through the opening. The tapered portion extends away from the drop portion and is configured to slide through the opening to position a top edge of the tapered portion opposite the cross bar relative to the opening. The top edge of the tapered portion interacts with the bracket to support the retail product via the bracket when the hanger is hung from the support structure.
