A linear ball bearing for longitudinally movable mounting of a shaft-like guide rail in a part surrounding the guide rail, which has a sleeve-like cage with recesses arranged one behind the other in the circumferential direction holding ball circuits which have at least one supporting section with supporting balls which are supported such that they can roll on the guide rail. The supporting balls are also supported such that they can roll on a raceway of a supporting race element inserted indirectly or directly into the cage. The supporting race element has at least one radial outer surface, arched outward at least in one direction, for contact against an inner surface of the part which surrounds the guide rail. The outer surface is formed by at least one web-like projection extending in the longitudinal direction of the supporting race element.

Linear ball bearing and supporting race element for the same

The invention proposes a linear guide unit comprising a guide carriage () that is mounted through rollers () for sliding on a guide rail (), and further comprising a roller chain () comprising a cage () for receiving the rollers (), said cage being formed by spacers () arranged between adjacent rollers () and flexible belts () arranged at two front ends of the rollers () for connecting the spacers () to one another, said roller chain () being arranged for rotating in an endless roller channel () comprising a load-bearing section (), in which the rollers () roll under load on raceways () of the guide carriage () and of the guide rail (), a return section (), that is arranged substantially parallel to the load-bearing section () and in which the rollers () of the roller chain () are unloaded, and two deflecting sections () that connect the return section () and the load-bearing section () endlessly to each other, said endless roller channel () comprising lateral rims () at both front ends of the rollers () for guiding the rollers (), each lateral rim () comprising a groove () for receiving one of the belts () of the cage (), said groove () comprising a groove bottom (), an inner groove wall () for an inner belt side of the belt () and an outer groove wall () situated opposite the inner groove wall () for an outer belt side of the belt (), wherein the outer groove wall () and the inner groove wall () of the groove () in the deflecting section () are made on separate parts.

Linear guide unit

A linear roller bearing is provided having a guide carriage () which can be mounted on a guide rail () in a rolling manner via roller bodies (). The guide carriage is provided with at least one continuous roller body channel () for the roller bodies (). The roller body channel () includes a support channel () for supporting the roller bodies (), a return channel () for returning the roller bodies (), and deflecting channels () which connect the support channel () to the return channel (). The deflecting channels () are provided in end elements () of the guide carriage (), and the roller bodies () in the roller body channel () are subject to displacement resistance in the direction of rotation. The end elements () are respectively provided with a sensor (), whereby a preferably electric sensor signal therefrom is dependent on the displacement resistance.

In a linear guide comprising a guide housing ( ) configured as a profiled support, and at least one guide rail ( ) fixed therein, a guide carriage ( ) being supported for longitudinal displacement on the guide rail ( ) while being connected to a running carriage ( ) that is situated partly outside the housing ( ) and extends through a longitudinal opening ( ) into the housing ( ), the linear guide comprising within the housing ( ), a drive for the longitudinal displacement of the guide carriage ( ) and of the running carriage ( ), according to the invention, the guide housing ( ) is an extrusion molded profile made of aluminium and the drive is configured as an electromotor with one motor component arranged in the guide housing ( ) and one motor component arranged in the running carriage ( ).
