A rotary press wherein the dosage drive and the compression roller drive have identical installation means, the stand has an upper and a lower accommodation platform and the accommodation platforms have identical accommodation means for the installation means on the sides facing each other, which are in a coincident arrangement with respect to each other.

Rotary press

A rotary press with a stand, a rotor rotatably mounted around a vertical axis in the stand and being driven, which has an upper and a lower compression punch accommodation for upper and lower punches which co-operate with bores of a die plate of the rotor, and upper and lower control cam elements which can be detachably fastened on a cam carrier of the stand and which guide heads of the compression punches by means of control cams during the rotation of the rotor, characterized in that at least one control cam element, guiding the compression punch heads radially outside or radially inside, can be detachably fastened on the carrier and can be moved radially away from the punch heads when the fastening means is detached, so far that by-passing the punch heads, it can be taken out parallel to the axis of the rotor, towards the upside or towards the bottom side, respectively.

A visual monitoring device for rotary presses, in which a rotor, with upper and lower punches and a die plate, at least one compression station, at least one filling station, and at least one ejector station are arranged in a housing, at which individual process steps occur, characterized in that arranged in the housing is at least one high speed camera, whose lens is directed onto a location in the housing, and to which an image analysis device is connected.

Visual monitoring device for rotary press

A rotor for a rotary tablet press, which has an upper and a lower punch guiding for upper and lower punches, which co-operate with bores of a die plate which is arranged between the upper and the lower punch guiding, wherein the punches have shafts, which are sealedly axially movable in guiding bores of the punch guidings by means of a sealing arrangement, and wherein means act between the shafts and the guiding bores which prevent a rotation of the pressing punches in the punch guidings, characterised in that the shafts have an out of round profile in the cross section, and the cross section of the guiding bores is complementary.
