Scouring cleaning compositions are disclosed in which the abrasive agent consists of agglomerates of finely divided abrasive material and an organic binder for agglomerating such material. Compositions of the invention have good soil-removing properties and improved non-scratching behavior. They are useful as powdered or liquid household products as well as skin-cleaning products.

A clear and stable concentrated liquid detergent composition which is effective especially for dishwashing in both hard and soft waters containing as active detergent component a mixture of:

A dishwashing composition which can be used in the conventional manner to obtain good foaming and detergency and can also be used in dilutions of about 5:1 or less to obtain a non-stick effect on aluminium pans contains from 10-50% of a detergent of which from 5-40% is a calcium/magnesium sensitive anionic synthetic detergent, from 0.01-2% of a selected alkyl phosphate monoester, and from 1 to 40% of a solubilizer. An example of such a composition has the following formulaton:

Dishwashing compositions

A detergent composition suitable for hand dishwashing and in particular for aluminium pan cleaning which has a pH of from 4 to 8.5 and consists of the following essential components: from 10 to 50% by weight of a detergent, from 5-40% of which is a calcium/magnesium sensitive anionic synthetic detergent; at least 1% of a solubiliser and 0.015-0.45% of an organic phosphonate. When used at dilutions of about 5x, the compositions can provide anti-resoiling effects on aluminium.

A machine dishwasher rinse aid having the property of imparting an anti-resoiling or non-stick finish to aluminium articles such as pans. The rinse aid contains an anti-resoiling agent which is preferably a monoalkylphosphate ester to achieve this effect. It also contains a nonionic surface active agent and a pH controller in the form of citric, lactic or glutaric acid.
