A method and devices for dialling services in a mobile telecommunication network include a set of stored character strings used for comparison with character strings entered by a subscriber to call a service is modified, if a mobile user equipment switches from or to a visited telecommunication network.

The invention relates to a location update procedure in a mobile communications system () having at least one first communications service domain () and at least one second communications service domain (). The mobile subscriber () is allowed to register in said first communications service domain. A location update request is received at a network element () of the communications system, and a subscription restriction information is received at this network element, said subscription restriction information indicating, whether a roaming restriction for a roaming into the second communications service domain applies for the mobile subscriber. The subscription restriction information is evaluated, and the location update procedure is performed depending on the evaluation. The invention relates further to a corresponding network element (), home subscriber data register (), user equipment () and computer program.

Location update procedure when roaming from a first communication service domain to a second communications service domain

To provide a mobile integrated intelligent network as basis for a pan-European universal railway communication system wherein a local control is enabled for subscribers roaming internationally it is proposed to provide a service switching means (SSF) for this mobile integrated intelligent network with an interrogation means ( ) adapted to receive at least a routable number from a service control unit ( ) in accordance with a functional number supplied thereto. Further, the service switching unit (SSF) comprises an address storage unit ( - -n) storing an address of the service control unit ( ) such that the interrogation is directed to a local service control unit ( ) in the event of international roaming.
