A DC voltage switch includes a first switch arranged at a first potential between a first terminal of the first switch and a second terminal of the first switch, a first discharging device which is arranged between the first terminal at the first potential and a third terminal at a second potential and includes a first switching element designed as a thyristor, and a second discharging device which is arranged between the second terminal and a fourth terminal at the second potential and includes a second switching element designed as a semiconductor switch that can be switched off. The respective discharging devices connect the first terminal and the third terminal and/or the second terminal and the fourth terminal, at least temporarily, when the DC voltage switch is being or has been switched off.

In a method for operating a controllable converter with an intermediate circuit capacitor, the control behavior can be improved by transmitting, depending on an intermediate circuit voltage applied to the intermediate circuit capacitor, an additional power component via the controllable converter such that the electric current that is generated by the controllable converter for the additional power component counteracts an oscillation of the intermediate circuit voltage. The additional power component is transmitted by the controllable converter to a connected motor as a pulsating additional torque. Also described is a controllable converter with a control unit for carrying out a method, wherein the controllable converter has semiconductors that can be switched off, and an intermediate circuit capacitor designed as a film-type capacitor.

Converter with active damping of the intermediate circuit voltage

An electronic switch has a first, a second and a third connection and is configured to disconnect a current flow between the first and the second connection. An energy source is connected between the first and the third connection, and a regenerative load is connected between the second and the third connection. The electronic switch includes a semiconductor switch capable of switching currents of different polarity. A fuse is connected between the first connection and the semiconductor switch. A first short-circuiter is connected between the input of the semiconductor switch and the third connection, and a second short-circuiter is connected between the output of the semiconductor switch and the third connection. The fuse has a current trigger threshold between a permanently permitted current and a maximally permitted current of the semiconductor switch. An electrical network having such electronic switch and a method for operating an electronic switch are disclosed.

In a method for reducing noise of a motor fed by a converter, a magnetic flux in the motor is changed for reducing a fundamental oscillation and a harmonic oscillation of the magnetic flux, and a degree of control and/or a pulse frequency of the converter is changed so as to change a harmonic oscillation of the magnetic flux.
