A device for stripping cable has a support roller arrangement and a work wheel arrangement. The support roller arrangement is on a rotation base rotatable about an axis of rotation and the work wheel arrangement is on a work wheel guide. The rotation base and the work wheel guide are connected via at least one guide and the work wheel guide is displaceable relative to the rotation base in a guide direction running transversely to the axis of rotation. The support roller arrangement has at least two support rollers each mounted on the rotation base so as to be rotatable about a support roller axis and the work wheel arrangement has a rolling wheel mounted on the work wheel guide so as to be rotatable about a rolling wheel axis. A clamping region is formed around the axis of rotation and between the support rollers and the rolling wheel.

Device and use of the device for stripping a cable

A device and method for stripping a cable has at least one support roller arrangement and a work wheel arrangement. The end of the cable to be stripped can be clamped with the application of a pressure force between the work wheel arrangement and the support roller arrangement. The unit made up of the work wheel arrangement and the support roller arrangement can be driven to rotate around the cable and to roll off thereon.

Device and method for stripping cables

A device for producing a braided sheath around an elongate object. The device has a warp thread frame which rotates in a warp thread rotation direction about a machine axis and has a group of warp thread bobbins, and the device has a group of bobbin carriers which rotate in the opposite direction about the machine axis and each have at least one weft thread bobbin. At least one warp thread is guided from each warp thread bobbin to a braiding point and at least one weft thread is guided from each weft thread bobbin to the braiding point. The course of the warp thread can be shifted alternately above and below the weft thread rotating past in the opposite direction via a laying means. The device has a bobbin carrier support which rotates with the warp thread frame in the warp thread rotation direction during operation.

Apparatus for producing a braided covering

A stranding element (V) includes a stationary storage container () for the material to be stranded, and at least one rotating guiding device () for guiding the material to the stranding region () substantially parallel to the rotational axis of guiding device (). The guiding device () is rotatably mounted in support structure (), in particular in bearing arrangement (L). The bearing arrangement (L) lies completely within the circle of rotation of the material, and is secured to support structure () via a retaining arrangement (H) extending from the bearing arrangement (L) radially outwards beyond the circle of rotation of the material, and axially spaced from the guiding device (). The retaining arrangement (H) has a passage that opens temporarily to allow the material to pass through in the circumferential direction and that follows the circle of rotation of the material.

Stranding machine

The invention relates to a deep-drawing method and a corresponding deep-drawing device. The deep-drawing device has at least two projections () and at least two corresponding lamellar gaps () in a die (), the width and positioning (Pi) of the lamellar gaps () being adjustable. Folding of a metal sheet () is brought about by closing the lamellar gaps (). During the subsequent deep-drawing process, the projections () are lowered into corresponding recesses (). Flat metal sheets () as well as previously corrugated metal sheets () can be folded and deep drawn by means of the deep-drawing device and the deep-drawing method.

Deep-drawing device

The invention is directed to a method for manufacturing ropes, cables or the like, whereby an envelope of a flexible, web-shaped material, for example paper, is produced around at least one central core, for example a conductor, moved in the direction of its longitudinal axis, and the structure that has arisen in this way is stranded in a traditional way while being moved, for example with a SZ stranding, whereby at least one further layer of plastic material can also be applied onto the moving, stranded structure in any case, preferably by extrusion. So that a complete and dependable enveloping of a central core can be produced before a following stranding, even given systems running at high speed and continuously and given systems with a changing rotational sense of the stranding, the material for the envelope is supplied in the form of a band with the same speed as the moving core and, finally, is directed parallel to the core, whereas at least two longitudinal structures that are essentially parallel to one another and to the longitudinal axis of the band and that reduce the flexural strength of the band are worked into the band during the delivery thereof, and the band, following the alignment parallel to the core and before the stranding, is automatically bent around the core at least twice at its longitudinal structures such that a closed sheath arises around the central core.
