A fuel system for a turbomachine includes a fuel tank and a first fuel line in fluid communication with the fuel tank and one or more fuel injectors. The first fuel line includes a main fuel pump disposed on the first fuel line, and an electric metering system disposed on the first fuel line downstream of the main fuel pump configured for starting the turbomachine and metering fuel to the fuel injectors.

Demand fuel systems for turbomachines

An air vehicle control system is described that includes a computer-implemented controller. The controller is configured to control an air vehicle, where the air vehicle is logically divided into four sections of electrical and mechanical devices that are operatively connected to the controller via a control data bus and an actuation bus. The four sections include a forward sector, a left engine sector, a right engine sector, and an aft sector. The controller controls all four sections of electrical and mechanical devices of the air vehicle.

Electric vehicle management architecture

A fuel supply system has a fuel tank, a first fuel pump, and a first oxygen removal unit. The first fuel pump delivers fuel from the fuel tank into the first oxygen removal unit. A valve downstream of the first oxygen removal unit is operable to selectively deliver fuel back to the fuel tank in a bypass position or downstream to a use in a use position. A controller programmed to control the valve and the first fuel pump maintains the valve in the bypass position when an associated gas turbine engine is not operating. The controller moves the valve to the use position when the associated gas turbine engine is operating. A gas turbine engine and a method of operating a fuel supply system are also disclosed.

Two stage oxygen removal for gas turbine engine fuel system

A heat exchanger includes a first half defining a first inlet portion and a first outlet portion, a second half defining a second inlet portion and a second outlet portion. The first half and the second half are configured to mate and form an inlet chamber and an outlet chamber. At least one of the first half or the second half includes one or more inlet transfer holes defined through a thickness of at least one of the first inlet portion and/or the second inlet portion. At least one of the first half or the second half includes one or more outlet transfer holes defined through a thickness of at least one of the first outlet portion or the second outlet portion.

A digital data harness, uses a signal specific conditioning circuit to interface with analog sensors. The signal specific conditioning circuits convert data signals from analog to digital and thereby allow the signals to be transmitted over a digital data harness.

Digital harness with analog inputs

An integrated system for monitoring a deployed product on a movable platform, gathering data about the deployed product, and disseminating the, data about the deployed product is disclosed. The system includes a server located on the movable platform capable of communication with the server from a remote location. The server communicates with a source of data about the deployed communicates with a source of data about the deployed product. The system further includes a portal onto which data gathered by the server may be downloaded and with which one can upload information to the server. The server may be provided in the form of a card adapted to be mounted into a pre-existing electronic controller of the deployed product.

A control method for managing a hydraulic control system of a vehicle is disclosed. The method includes the steps of scheduling the invocation of a plurality of vehicle functions through system operations, which functions are used for operating the vehicle; prioritizing the invocation of the vehicle functions and associated operations by the system; performing the operations based on prioritization created in the step of prioritizing; and superseding the performance of one of the operations with the performance of a higher priority one of the operations. This occurs if the higher priority operation arises for performance during the performance of the one of the operations. A related controller is also disclosed.
