An oscillation module for a compacting roller of a soil compactor includes a plate-like carrier, at least two oscillation mass units supported on the carrier at a distance from one another, and an oscillation drive motor supported on the carrier. The carrier has a connection formation for firmly connecting the carrier to a carrier structure of a compacting roller. Each oscillation mass unit includes an imbalance mass rotatably supported on the carrier about an oscillation axis of rotation. Each imbalance mass of each oscillation mass unit can be driven by the oscillation drive motor for rotation about the respectively assigned oscillation axis of rotation.

Oscillation module

A compactor roller includes a roller jacket, at least one roller disk connected to the roller jacket, and a reinforcing arrangement with a reinforcing ring connected to the roller jacket and a reinforcing structural group connected to the roller disk and the reinforcing ring, the reinforcing structural group including: (i) at least one first reinforcing plate arranged eccentrically and connected to the roller disk and to the reinforcing ring, and a second reinforcing plate connected to the roller disk and arranged substantially parallel to the at least one first reinforcing plate, the second reinforcing plate intersecting a rotary roller axis, or (ii) reinforcing struts connected to the roller disk and to the reinforcing ring and arranged around the rotary roller axis, at least one of the reinforcing struts arranged with a longitudinal strut axis which is not parallel to the rotary roller axis.

Compactor roller

A compaction device includes at least one traveling drum rotatable about a drum shaft and having vibration exciters including unbalanced masses rotating out of phase by 180 degrees in the same direction of rotation and generating an oscillation torque about the drum shaft, and having a drive shaft running coaxial to the drum shaft for driving the vibration exciters. The drum is divided at least once and each drum part includes at least two coupled vibration exciters mounted at a distance from the drum shaft in the drum.
