Provided is a flexible hose assembly having an inner nipple coupled to an inner flexible hose and an outer nipple at least partially surrounding the inner nipple and being coupled to an outer flexible hose, wherein a first fluid flowing through the inner nipple is directed outward in-between the inner and outer flexible hoses and a second fluid flowing in-between the inner and outer nipples is directed inward to the inner flexible hose. By directing the second fluid inward and the first flow outward, the outer flexible hose is prevented from collapsing on the inner flexible hose when pressure of the second fluid flowing through the inner flexible hose is greater than a pressure of the first fluid flowing through the outer flexible hose.

Concentric flexible hose assembly

A fire resistant flexible hose construction particularly adapted for aerospace applications includes a tubular core, a reinforcement layer surrounding the exterior surface of the tubular core, a thermal insulation layer surrounding reinforcement layer, and an integral firesleeve layer surrounding the thermal insulation layer. The reinforcement layer includes one or more filaments of one or more fibers, such as aramid fibers. The thermal insulation layer is constructed of one or more filaments of e-glass.

Fire resistant hose assembly

A hose fitting that includes a body having a connection portion configured for connection to an external component, a tubular nipple portion configured for insertion into an end of a hose, and a union portion joining the nipple portion to the connecting portion. The socket also has a crimp portion extending from the union portion of the socket. A swage collar having a tapered inner surface radially inwardly deforms the socket when the swage collar is moved axially over the socket to retain a hose between the socket and the nipple portion of the body.

Hose fitting

A flexible hose for conveying fluids and suitable for high temperature environments, the hose comprising a core tube, a thermal insulating layer surrounding the core tube, a metal layer surrounding the thermal insulating layer, and a vented jacket surrounding the cover layer. The thermal insulating layer may be a fibrous material such as a silica fiber. The metal layer may also be a chemical resistant layer and be thermally stable up to at least about 550&#xb0; F. The vented jacket may be a wire braid having interstices therein and formed from a corrosion resistant material.

High temperature fire sleeve

A flexible hose for conveying fluids and suitable for high temperature environments, in one embodiment the hose assembly comprises a thermal paint coated nipple, a core tube, a thermal insulating layer surrounding the core tube, a cover layer surrounding the thermal insulating layer, and a vented jacket surrounding the cover layer. The thermal insulating layer may be a fibrous material such as a silica fiber. The cover layer may be thermally stable up to 750&#xb0; F. or higher. The vented jacket may be a wire braid having interstices therein and formed from a corrosion resistant material.

Fire protective hose assembly

A lockwireless, anti-rotation fitting for connection to a connector. The fitting includes a coupler having a series of circumferential engagement portions disposed about an outer peripheral surface, and a nut receivable coaxially over the outer peripheral surface of the coupler, and which is threadably engageable with the connector. The nut has an opening through which is received the end of a locking mechanism. The locking mechanism end is interferingly engageable with the coupler engagement portions such that with the nut being received coaxially over the coupler outer peripheral surface of the coupler, the nut is threadably engageable with the connector urging the coupler into a sealing engagement with a sealing surface of the connector, and with the coupler being so engaged, the locking mechanism end is interferingly engaged with at least one of the coupler engagement portions delimiting the rotation of the nut relative to the connector.

Lockwireless anti-rotation fitting

A lockwireless, anti-rotation fitting for connection to a connector. The fitting includes a coupler having a series of circumferential engagement portions disposed about an outer peripheral surface, and a nut receivable coaxially over the outer peripheral surface of the coupler, and which is threadably engageable with the connector. The nut also has a series of complementary circumferential engagement portions disposed about at an inner peripheral surface. With the nut being received coaxially over the first outer peripheral surface of the coupler, the nut is threadably engageable with the connector urging the coupler into a sealing engagement with a sealing surface of the connector, and with the coupler being engaged with the connector sealing surface, the first and second engagement portions are interengaged to delimit the rotation of the nut relative to the connector.
