A method of predicting the cutting speed for machining of titanium alloy comprising the steps of obtaining a first transfer function for a tool system, obtaining a second transfer function for a workpiece system, selecting from the first transfer function a first flexible mode, selecting from the second transfer function a second flexible mode, defining a natural frequency of the first flexible mode and the second flexible mode, calculating a tooth passing frequency using the defined natural frequency, accepting the calculated tooth passing frequency if the calculated tooth passing frequency differs from a second harmonic of a combined system formed of the tool system and the workpiece system and from at least one natural frequency corresponding to the tool system and the workpiece system, calculating a stable spindle speed, defining a cut depth using the calculated spindle speed.

An adaptor allows a known fishing pole to receive at least two fishing reels for being simultaneously used. The adaptor includes a mounting foot that is designed to be received in the structure of the known pole that receives a single fishing reel. Another part of the adaptor is designed to receive the two or more fishing reels and to support them on the fishing pole. The two reels may be used to fish at large distances by attaching a conveying device, for example a balloon, to one of the lines. The second of the lines passes through a ring attached to the first line for carrying the second line away from the fisherman.

A slip-on self-locking automatically articulating emergency brakeing system for ladders is described. Consisting of a metal plate as the complete raw material required for the manufacture of a set of two brakes, one brake designed to fit the left hand side rail, and one brake designed to fit the right hand side rail of said ladder. A plurality of protrusions diverge from the body (22) of each brake, including a jug handle type lug (20) which most nearly encircles a rung of said ladder, a slide plate (12) which engages the rear portion of said ladder rail. A slide plate clasp (14) to prevent lateral movement of the device, and structuraly induced incisor column (10) and incisor (8) for use as a perpendicular brakeing mechanism due to right angle reduction.

Ladder emergency braking system

A vehicle usable in the air, on water, or on ground is described. Outer wing portions are connected to a central portion by a mechanism which allows the outer wing portions to pivot about first axes for placing the outer wing portions in stored positions. The outer wing portions are also rotatable about a second axis for placing them in positions whereby they are useful as sails for driving the vehicle without the use of an engine. The wheels are capable of being pivoted to non-positions.
