An auxiliary motor is disposed on an attachment interface of a loader. The loader also has one or more primary motors providing motive power for the loader. The loader also includes lift arms having an attachment interface on a distal portion of the lift arms. The auxiliary motor is disposed on the attachment interface and an auxiliary motor interface is coupled to the auxiliary motor. The auxiliary motor is configured to transfer torque from the auxiliary motor to a powered attachment mounted to the attachment interface.

A compact articulated-steering loader is provided. The loader includes a front portion having a first pair wheels and a seat reference point (SgRP) for an operator. The loader also includes a rear portion having a second pair of wheels, wherein the rear portion is coupled to the front portion via a vertical articulation axis. The loader includes one or a pair of loader arms coupled to the front portion via a horizontal arm pivot axis, the one or a pair of loader arms having a bucket or an attachment interface for a bucket at a distal portion thereof. The arm pivot axis is disposed to the rear of the SgRP. The loader also includes a power source disposed on the front frame. The power source is coupled to at least one of the first and second pairs of wheels to provide motive power for the loader.

Compact articulated-steering loader

A track system for a ground engaging vehicle such as a tractor is provided. Track systems shown include the ability to maintain existing gear ratios and vehicle speed when interchanging wheels with track systems as described above. Embodiments shown also exhibit improved support of the track system in relation to a vehicle axle that reduces stress problems associated with the axle or related components. Another feature includes pivoting the track system in a way that prevents the track system from rotating 360 degrees around the axle when large obstacles are encountered.

Track system for a ground engaging vehicle

An endless track system for providing a plurality of rigid grouser members attached about the exterior surface of a rubber track. The inventive device includes an endless rubber track having an outer surface and an inner surface, a plurality of gripping members attached to the outer surface of the endless track, and a plurality of inner members attached to the inner surface of the endless track and to the gripping members. Each of the inner members is comprised of an elongate support member with a pair of opposing side walls attached orthogonally to. The gripping members are preferably comprised of a center member surrounded by an outer coating. The outer coating may be comprised of any plastic or rubber material for reducing damage to surfaces traveled upon. The gripping members are preferably attached to the inner members by a plurality of fasteners that extend through the endless rubber track. In an alternative embodiment, the gripping members may be comprised of a member having a U-shaped cross sectional area.

Endless track system

A converter assembly for converting a drive-wheel-driven tractor into a track-driven tractor, the assembly having its frame separate and unattached relative to the frame of the tractor and constructed and arranged, together with a continuous track, to be positioned beneath the drive-wheel of the tractor, and within the track, in cooperating position with the drive-wheel and track, to effectively extend the ground-engaging area of the tractor. A pair of transversely spaced, relatively light, plate members rotatably mount a pair of idler wheels, one ahead and one behind the drive-wheel within the track. A pair of alignment rollers are also rotatably mounted between the plate members in engaging and aligning relation ahead and behind the drive-wheel, whereby the converter assembly is maintained in aligned relation with the drive-wheel, and some of the weight is transferred from the drive-wheel, through the alignment rollers and plate members, to the idler rollers. The plate members permit easy application of the converter assembly to, or withdrawal from, the drive-wheel by merely jacking the latter into an elevated position and applying or removing, as the case may be, the converter assembly and track by merely removing the outside plate member before applying or removing the assembly form the drive-wheel, and re-applying same after the lower portion of the drive-wheel is extended into the track and assembly or is removed therefrom, as the case may be. The entire converter assembly is otherwise entirely unattached relative to the frame of the tractor.
