A marking system () for marking a marking object () comprises a marking device () for attaching a marking () on a marking object (), a detection device () for detecting identification information () associated with the marking object (), and a control device () for controlling the marking device (), the control device () being designed to authenticate identification information () detected by the detection device () and to control the marking device () on the basis of the authentication. In this way, a marking system for marking a marking object is provided, which makes reliable marking of permitted marking objects possible.

A method for inputting print data for printing on a print object with a printer, having the following steps: displaying a printer selection window on an input and display device and evaluating a performed selection of a printer, selecting a print-object selection window by means of a control and evaluation unit on the basis of the evaluated selection of the printer, displaying the selected print-object selection window having at least one print object that can be printed on by the selected printer, and evaluating a performed selection of the print object, selecting and displaying an input screen by means of the control and evaluation unit on the basis of the evaluated selection of the print object, transferring print data that are input into the input screen to the printing device of the printer or, by means of a data communication interface of the printer, to an external printer.

Method for inputting of print data for printing upon a print object using a printer and printing system with at least two printers

A printer for printing objects for marking electrical components, having a housing, a printing space formed inside of the housing, a printing device, a receiving device for a replaceable magazine for receiving the object to be printed, a control and evaluation unit, and an input and display device, wherein the receiving device can move between a loading and unloading position outside of the printing space and a printing position inside of the printing space. The printer has lower and upper housing parts, wherein the printing space, the printing device, the receiving device, and the control and evaluation unit are arranged in the lower housing part. A tablet computer is pivotably attached on the top side of the upper housing part, whereby the tablet computer can be locked in an upwardly pivoted position, and the upper housing part is mounted to pivot about a rotational axis on the lower housing part.

Printer for printing objects

A method for inputting print data for printing on a print object with a printer having a housing, a printing device, a holding device for an exchangeable magazine which holds the print object to be printed on, a control and evaluation unit, a memory and an input and display apparatus. Inputting print data is facilitated by the following steps of the method: inserting a magazine having the print object into the holding device outside of the printing chamber; moving the holding device into the printing chamber, optically sensing a marking arranged on the print object and/or on the magazine; selecting an input screen, from a plurality of input screens stored in the memory on the basis of the marking of the inserted print object sensed and/or on the magazine sensed by the sensor; and displaying the selected input screen or screens on the input display apparatus.
