The present disclosure relates to various embodiments of an optical component for a LIDAR Sensor System. The optical component may include an optical element having a first main surface and a second main surface opposite to the first main surface, a first lens array formed on the first main surface, and/or a second lens array formed on the second main surface. The optical element has a curved shape in a first direction of the LIDAR Sensor System.

A method for detecting damage to a converter device of a lighting apparatus is provided. The method may include irradiating the converter device with input light, detecting a useful light portion emitted principally by a first section of the converter device by means of a first sensor element. A first detection signal is obtained, detecting a useful light portion emitted principally by a second section of the converter device, said second section being different than the first section, by means of a second sensor element. A second detection signal is obtained. The method further may include automatically obtaining damage information about the converter device from a ratio or a difference of the first detection signal with respect to either the second detection signal or a comparison signal formed therefrom.

Detecting damage to a converter device

A lighting device comprising a phosphor arrangement () having a phosphor region (-), a first laser () for irradiating a part of the phosphor region (-) with a first laser radiation. The phosphor region (-) has at least one phosphor which can be irradiated by the first laser radiation and re-emits the first laser radiation at least partly in a manner wavelength-converted into colored light having a first light color. A second laser () is configured for emitting a second laser radiation having a second light color. The second light color of the second laser radiation is identical in color to the first light color of the wavelength-converted colored light. The lighting device is configured to simultaneously emit the second laser radiation and the wavelength-converted colored light of identical color emitted by the phosphor.

A light module includes a wavelength conversion element and an excitation radiation source to emit excitation radiation having the first wavelength and arranged such that excitation radiation emitted by the excitation radiation source can be radiated onto the wavelength conversion element. The element has an emission spectrum having a red spectral component and a second dominant wavelength, which is less than a first dominant wavelength of the wavelength spectrum of the light to be generated by a predefinable value. The light module includes a long-pass filter arranged such that light emitted by the element can be radiated onto the long-pass filter. The long-pass filter is designed to filter the light emitted by the element and radiated onto the long-pass filter such that the filtered light has the wavelength spectrum of the light to be generated having the predefinable dominant wavelength.

Various embodiments relate to a light module having an excitation radiation source, a rotatable color wheel having a plurality of sectors which can be irradiated sequentially by the excitation radiation source upon a rotation of the color wheel. In this case, a wavelength conversion element is arranged in a first region at least in one of the sectors. Furthermore, at least one subregion of a second region of the color wheel is embodied as at least partly light-transmissive, and at least one part of the light emitted by the at least one wavelength conversion element can be guided through said subregion to an output of the light module.
