The invention relates to a method for controlling and adjusting a motor-driven adjusting device, especially a window lifter, a seat adjusting device or a sliding roof of a motor vehicle, comprising an anti-jamming protection. The motor drive is switched off or blocked at a value below a predetermined load limit when said predetermined load limit is exceeded. The aim of the invention is to provide a method with which the adjusting device is subjected to as little loads as possible under all operating conditions. To this end, state variables of the motor drive are continuously detected and the load actually generated by the motor drive is determined from said state variables on the basis of a mathematical model of the drive.

Method for controlling and regulating a motor-driven adjusting device

A method for monitoring thermal overload of an electric load element in a motor vehicle containing other electric consumers, which can be switched into a stand-by phase is disclosed. The load element is monitored by a control device using a calculated load temperature parameter. During a first operational phase, a power loss of the load element or a quantity that is essentially proportional thereto is evaluated for calculating the load temperature parameter. During one or more stand-by phases, the control device is switched with essentially no current between the first operational phase and a second operational phase. After the control device is switched on in the second operational phase, at least one quantity, which is characteristic for the moment of switching on, is evaluated for calculating the existing load temperature parameter.

Thermal monitoring of an electric load element

The invention relates to a device for detecting the adjustment of translationally moved adjusting devices in vehicles, especially window lifters, sunroofs and similar, comprising a sensor, which emits a sensor signal that is dependent on the adjusting movement of the adjusting device to a circuit for evaluating the sensor signal. This sensor also detects the forces of acceleration that are exerted on the vehicle and emits a signal to the circuit that corresponds to these forces of acceleration, and is characteristically modified. The sensor signals are the evaluated.

Device for detecting the adjustment of translationally moved adjusting devices in vehicles

High resolution and accuracy of the measured values for detection of the position, speed and/or acceleration of a drive is ensured. The tolerances are determined and considered in signal evaluation on a partitioned basis. Measurement errors caused by inaccuracies of the signal generator due to manufacturing difficulties are greatly reduced or eliminated such that use of signal generators without particularly high quality specifications is possible. Thus, use of less exact components in generation and detection is possible.
