An adjustable hanger assembly is provided that includes a slider base and a slider that can be adjusted horizontally and vertically within the slider base. The slider can be held in a position by a fastener such as a threaded fastener. A series of horizontal grooves and ridges on the slider can engage a series of complementary grooves and ridges on the slider base, and the engagement can occur at different heights. The slider can freely move horizontally once inserted into the slider base. The slider base can be squeezed by tightening the threaded fastener to pinch the slider and hold the slider in a desired vertical and horizontal position. The hanger assembly can be adjusted both vertically and horizontally after the slider base is fixedly secured to a wall.

A sensor, having: a mounting plate, the mounting plate fastened to a device to be monitored and having an alignment indication readable by a human; a sensor module, the sensor module configured to monitor the device; a housing and a fastener, the housing secured to the mounting plate by the fastener; a controller, the controller including a circuit board having logical and communication functionality; and an inner housing, the inner housing retaining a battery and also providing a mounting surface for the controller.

A method and apparatus are disclosed for collecting urine samples. The method and apparatus comprise a reservoir and funnel. The bottom portion of the funnel is attached to the top portion of the reservoir. The funnel has ridges lying along the long axis of the funnel. The funnel has an expanded and unexpanded position. When unexpanded the funnel folds inward along the ridge about the lip of the reservoir, towards the bottom of the reservoir. When expanded, the funnel folds upwardly and unfolds outwardly.

Method and device for collecting urine

A device for the ablation of tissue for use with the human hand and a radio frequency power supply and controller providing a source of radio frequency energy and a control for controlling the application of radio frequency energy to the device. The device includes a handle sized so that is adapted to be grasped by the human hand and has proximal and distal extremities. A needle formed of a conducting material has proximal and distal extremities. The proximal extremity of the needle is mounted on the distal extremity of the handle so that it is insulated from the handle. Conductors are carried by the handle and are connected to the needle and extend from the handle and are coupled to the radio frequency power supply and controller for supplying radio frequency energy to the needle. A temperature sensor is carried by the handle and is adapted to be coupled to the radio frequency power supply and controller for sensing the application of radio frequency energy to the tissue for controlling the application of radio frequency energy to the needle.

An expandable swim flipper includes a blade having at least an expandable portion thereof. The expandable portion radially expands in response to water resistance directed to a first surface of the blade. The surface area of the flipper is correspondingly increased to propel a swimmer at a faster rate through the water. The expandable portion radially contracts in response to water resistance directed to a second surface of the blade. The surface area of the flipper is correspondingly reduced, and is thereby subject to decreased water resistance. In a first preferred embodiment of the invention, the flipper blade is formed of expandable lateral members joined to a central member having a constant width. In a second, equally preferred embodiment, the flipper blade is formed of lateral members having a constant width and joined to an expandable central member. In a third, equally preferred embodiment of the invention, the flipper blade is expandable over its entire width. Rigid axial supports, or vertical flexors may be provided to supply additional structural support to the swim flipper.

A video headset is worn comfortably on the head of a user, supported by a pair of spaced apart straps extending over the top of the head and across the lower back of the head. The rear strap may be counterweighted. A pair of headphone type speakers are supported on pivoted arms from a frame of the headset, so as to be swingably adjustable to accommodate ear position. In a preferred embodiment, a pair of LCD video displays are positioned above the level of the user's eyes, each with a beam splitter positioned in front of the eyes to reflect a portion of the light from the video screens to the user. The partially transmissive beam splitters allow the user to see through to the ambient scene beyond, increasing the comfort of the user in viewing the video. A transparent shield preferably is positioned forward of the video optics, with an adjustment under the control of the user for controlling the brightness of the ambient light. The video screens and optics preferably set the user's convergence angle at about eight feet, for optimum comfort.

In a first embodiment, the invention has a casing set in the frame of a door in confronting relationship to the latchbolt-confining housing of the door. A bolt, translatable in the casing, is extended, by a solenoid, and enters the housing to prevent opening of the door. A latchbolt position sensor, in the form of a dual-ended limb, monitors the position of the latchbolt. Upon withdrawal of the latchbolt, from latching closure of the door, the limb actuates a switch to operate a time delay circuit component. When the specified time delay set by the component has run its course, it cuts power to the solenoid. Compression springs withdraw the bolt from the latchbolt-confining housing, to permit the door to open.
