A method for establishing the gearing geometries of a gear pairing of two gears with intersection axes comprises the following steps: predetermining a first gearing geometry of a virtual first gear; calculating the geometry of the gearing of a virtual second gear, this geometry resulting during conjugated creation from a roll-off process of a tooth () of the predetermined geometry of the virtual first gear, whereby the roll-off process of the tooth () of the virtual first gear, this roll-off process underlying the calculation, is ended in the symmetrical position thereof in the tooth gap () of the second virtual tooth; calculating the tooth face geometry of the teeth of the first gear, this tooth face geometry resulting during the reverse conjugated creation, while underlying a full roll-off process of a tooth of the virtual second gear with the first; establishing the final geometry of the gearing of the first gear according to the tooth face geometry of the gearing of the first gear, this tooth face geometry having been calculated in the previous step, and; establishing the final geometry of the gearing of the second gear according to the previously calculated tooth face geometry of the gearing of the virtual second gearing.

Gear pair with intersecting axes

The invention relates to a gear pair consisting of a crown gear () and of a pinion gear () provided in the form of a spur gear with an axis crossing angle of 90&#xb0;. According to the invention, the teeth () of the pinion gear (), in order to reduce an undercut of the teeth () of the crown gear (), have a pressure angle, which increases from the outside inward in a radial direction with regard to the crown gear (), or in the event of a constant pressure angle, have a profile offset, which decreases from the outside inward in a radial direction with regard to the crown gear ().

In a coupling tooth formation, in particular in a gear box, either on a gear sleeve or on a gear wheel, the teeth are fitted to the base end of a cylindrical base ( ) in relation to the rotational axis, elongate in axial direction and provided at their coupling end with a roof outline sloping from the tooth base towards the tooth head, comprising a rounded roof edge ( ); the radius of the roof edge rounding increases from the tooth base towards the tooth head according to a pre-set function in order to design the procedure of the tracking process after the initial contact as smoothly running as possible.

Clutch gearing especially for a manual transmission

The invention concerns a morphology matrix for forming the cross-sectional shape of a short gearing tooth, in particular on toothed wheels of motor vehicle gearboxes. The short gearing teeth are formed on a cylindrical section of a gear wheel or gear shift sleeve, the axis of this section coinciding with the displacement axis of the gear shift sleeve. Each tooth comprises a tip which is chamfered in roof-like manner and has lateral flanks (,) which are shaped towards the tooth base (,) so that they have a relief at least over part of their height. The lateral flanks (,) terminate in a radiused tooth base (,), all of the teeth, or some thereof defined according to a regularly changing pattern, having at least a morphology defining the shape of the lateral flanks.

Gearing tooth form

The invention relates to a coupling toothing in a gearbox between two rotationally symmetrical coupling structures (5,6) which can be coupled with each other. The toothing comprises the following features to increase the strength thereof: (a) both coupling structures (5,6) have claws on opposing sides which project axially from a base surface (10); (b) in a first of the two coupling structures (6), the claws (14,15,16) are arranged on the inner peripheral surface (17) of an outer collar (18) delimiting the base surface (10); (c) in the second of the two coupling structures (5), the claws (7,8) are arranged on the external periphery surface (9) of an inner collar (13) delimiting the base surface (10); and (d) the coupling surfaces of the two claws each have an undercut profile.

Coupling toothing in a gearbox

In the case of a claw toothing for a gearbox or the like, of which the claws are designed with an undercut and, viewed in cross-section with respect to the longitudinal axis of the claws, have a flat or convex roof profile, it is provided to improve the engagement that the plan view of the claws tapers into a wedge shape towards the rotational axis of the claw toothing and that the generatrices (5a, 5b) of the roof profile and/or the sides, in the longitudinal direction of the claw, are straight lines which go through the rotational axis (D).
