A method includes moving one or more transmit facility or transmit facilities attached to a first component with regard to at least two receive facilities attached at a fixed position to the second component; and at least one of registering a respective error if an error condition exists for the respective receive facility or modifying an operation of an apparatus comprising the first and a second component if the error condition exists for the respective receive facility, the error condition for the respective receive facility depends on location information relating to at least one of the position of the first component with regard to the second component or orientation of the first component with regard to the second component, and/or at least one of a measure for a receive quality of the signals or data packets received from the transmit facility or from at least one of the transmit facilities.

A filter method for reducing interferences of a measuring signal, caused by magnetic fields of a rotatable medical imaging system while measuring bioelectric signals in a differential voltage measuring system, the filter method including: capturing a frequency value of a rotation of a gantry of the rotatable medical imaging system; generating a virtual reference signal as a function of the frequency value captured; estimating, via an adaptive signal filter, an amplitude and a constant phase offset of an estimated interference signal, based upon the virtual reference signal generated and a measuring signal; and filtering the measuring signal with the adaptive signal filter by subtracting the estimated interference signal from the measuring signal. Reduction of magnetic field-induced interferences when measuring bioelectric signals

A circuit having a resistive touch screen, a medical imaging appliance having a resistive touch screen and a method for operating a resistive touch screen are provided. The circuit has a resistive touch screen with a resistive first layer and a resistive second layer that are arranged parallel above one another. Voltage dividers of the first and second layers are formed by contact with the touch screen and are extended by electrical resistors arranged at edges of the first and second layers.

A differential voltage measuring system is described. The differential voltage measuring system has a signal measuring circuit for measuring bioelectric signals, and an interference-signal measuring circuit coupled to the potential of the differential voltage measuring system and electrically connected to a fixed reference potential. In this case, the interference-signal measuring circuit is designed for measuring a current flowing from the potential of the differential voltage measuring system to the fixed reference potential. A differential voltage measuring system with an additional path is also described. Furthermore, a differential voltage measuring system with an averaging potential measuring method is described.

Rejection of the common-mode signal component in the measurement of bioelectric signals

A differential voltage measuring system includes two electrodes that are connected to a patient at an input and make available a respective measurement contact at an output. A shunt resistor is connected in series with the second electrode. A first amplifier circuit has a first input for a first signal from the first electrode, a second input for a second signal from the second electrode, and an output. A second amplifier circuit has a first input that is connected in series with the shunt resistor, a second input that is connected in parallel with the shunt resistor, and an output. A first signal detection unit is provided at the output of the first amplifier circuit, and a second signal detection unit is provided at the output of the second amplifier circuit. The second signal detection unit detects the signal from the second amplifier circuit as a measurement variable.
