A joint shaft, in particular a universal joint shaft, has first and second axial connection ends and a central part that connects the two connection ends to one another in a torsionally rigid and pivotable manner. At least one intermediate sleeve is provided between a first and a second shaft element with internal gearing having inner teeth, which are distributed over the circumference and extend in the direction of the longitudinal axis, and external gearing with outer teeth, which are distributed over the circumference and extend in the direction of the longitudinal axis. The sleeve is longitudinally displaceable relative to the first shaft element and to the second shaft element and is attached directly or indirectly in a torsionally rigid manner to the first shaft element by way of the intermediate sleeve external gearing and to the second shaft element by way of the intermediate sleeve internal gearing.

Joint shaft, in particular universal joint shaft

A journal receptacle for a wobbler connection, in particular for the rotationally secure connection of a drive shaft, such as an articulated shaft, to a roll of a rolling mill. A wobbler hub has a receiving opening that extends in an axial direction of the wobbler hub, for the positive-locking reception of a roll journal. The receiving opening has an inner surface, extending in the axial direction and over the periphery and at least one torque transmission surface. The latter is clad at least partially with at least one wearing plate. The at least one wearing plate is held in a positive-locking manner on the torque transmission surface by at least one clamping piece, which extends in the axial direction on the torque transmission surface and which is connected to the torque transmission surface by a connecting device.

A universal joint arrangement with a journal cross, supported by bearings in two joint yokes offset to one another by 90&#xb0;. Each joint yoke comprises a flange and two bearings. Each bearing has an axial bearing pressure disk that is supported by a first connection element on the joint yoke and a second connection element on the journal cross to form a first and second friction pairing. One of the connection elements has at least one elevated support region facing the axial bearing pressure disk. The support region is arranged in the region of low relative movement of the joint yoke with the journal cross, while the regions other than the support region lie in the region of greatest relative motion.

Universal joint arrangement

A universal joint arrangement with a journal cross, supported by bearings in two joint yokes offset to one another by 90&#xb0;. Each joint yoke comprises a flange and two bearings. Each bearing has an axial bearing mold element that is supported by a connection element on the joint yoke and at least indirectly on the journal cross to form a first and second friction pairing. The mold element has a planar face and a second face having at least one elevated support region facing the first or second friction pairing, and is arranged with the support region on the connection element, which elastically deflects under load. The regions on the second face other than the support region are free from contact with the connection element in every load state. The support region is arranged in the region of low relative movement of the connection element with the journal cross, while the regions other than the support region lie in the region of greatest relative motion.

A spider, for a universal joint for prop shafts suitable for the transmission of torque, comprising pins arranged around a mid-point and extending from the base body in pairs about a common axis, whereby the axes cross at the center of the spider at a right angle. Each pin comprises a surface arranged concentrically about the corresponding pin axis forming a running surface, or has a running surface for the rollers of a roller bearing and a transition region between the surface forming, or supporting a running surface and the base body. The spider is characterized by the following features:&#x2014;functional surfaces for the support of at least one sealing device with formation of a seal surface of a sealing pair on the front face of the base body facing the pin, on each pin, said functional surface runs perpendicular to a plane which runs from the pin axis of the corresponding pin to an adjacent pin in the circumferential direction, the functional surface runs from the transition region to at least a region in the radial direction about the pin axis which may be described by a radius which corresponds to at least 1.5 times the radius of the pin and each functional surface is provided with at least one centering surface perpendicular thereto for the bearing mounting of a seal holder supporting the sealing device.

The invention relates to a yoke () which is used in universal-joint propeller shafts, having at least one leg member () which is connected to an input or output part of a machine element comprising at least one bearing part () surrounding a bore (). Said bore () forms a supporting surface () at least one partial zone of a roller-bearing arrangement () for the positioning of a journal () of a differential-pinion shaft (). The invention is characterized in that the supporting surface has at least one local recess () in the region of the rolling elements ()) of the roller-bearing arrangement () which is subjected to maximum tensile stress during the transmission of the torque.

Articulated yoke, method for the production of a supporting surface enabling an even distribution and bearing arrangement

A thrust ring, in particular an axial bearing thrust ring, for forming a running surface for rolling elements, for use in bearing systems for universal joints of cardan shafts. The ring has a first planar end side and a second end side, having two surface regions on the second end side which have been machined symmetrically with respect to a first axis of symmetry S of the thrust ring, and also in terms of its profile in the circumferential direction as seen starting from the first axis of symmetry, in the circumferential direction, to a further, second axis of symmetry S which runs at right angles to the first axis of symmetry S . Each of the surface regions can be described by a change in cross section of the thrust ring, which change comprises a reduction in the thickness dimensions describing the cross-sectional area in the region of the inner circumference and the outer circumference of the thrust ring, wherein the reduction in the thickness dimensions in the region of the inner circumference being less than in the region of the outer circumference.

Thrust ring and method for producing a thrust ring, bearing system for bolts of universal joints and cardan joint arrangement

A flange yoke for a universal joint, two joint fork halves, each comprising a base component and a bearing component. The joint fork halves can be connected in a form-locking manner to one another in the region of their base component to form a flange. The base components have mutually complementary toothing in the region of the outer circumference on their coupling face, wherein the extension of a tooth trace of the toothing on the coupling face forms an angle of from >0 degrees to <180 degrees with a plane formed by the pin axis of a pin supported in a joint fork half and a joint fork axis coinciding with an axis of rotation of the joint fork. A second set of toothing is formed in the region of the joint fork axis on the mutually facing coupling faces of the base components. Extensions of these tooth traces are arranged at an angle of between 70 degrees and 110 degrees inclusive to the extension of a tooth trace of the first set of toothing.

Flange yoke for a universal joint and a universally jointed shaft

A universal joint attached to a cardan shaft and adapted for transmitting high torques. The universal joint includes two yokes, with each yoke having two bearing bores. A spider has a plurality of journals which are respectively disposed in the bearing bores. Each journal defines a corresponding journal axis, and has a journal bore defining an inner edge. The spider defines a joint axis extending generally perpendicular to each journal axis. A plurality of radial bearings are disposed within a respective bearing bore for rotatably supporting the journal within the bearing bore. Each radial bearing includes an inner race having a collar extending toward a respective journal axis. The collar extends radially inward of the inner edge and includes a first running face which faces toward the joint axis and parallel to the respective journal axis. A plurality of bearing caps are respectively disposed at an axial end of each journal. The bearing cap defines a second running face extending parallel to the first running face and facing away from the joint axis and parallel to the respective journal axis. An axial bearing is disposed within the journal bore, and is defined in part by the first running face and the second running face.
