A downhole tool string comprising a motor unit () having a rotational shaft rotating with a rotational motor speed; a gear section; an operational tool having a tool shaft rotated by the gear section () at a lower rotational speed than that of the rotational shaft; and a pump unit () having a rotor shaft rotated by the motor unit () for providing fluid around or past an operational tool (). The pump unit () is arranged between the gear section () and the operational tool ().

Downhole tool string

The present invention relates to a downhole hydraulic pump for providing fluid pressure during downhole operations, comprising a pump housing, a cam shaft rotatably arranged in the pump housing and having a longitudinal spin axis, the cam shaft comprising a shaft and a cam lobe arranged on the shaft, a radially arranged piston having a housing end and a cam end, a piston housing arranged in the pump housing, an inlet valve arranged in an inlet in the piston housing, an outlet valve arranged in an outlet in the piston housing, and a piston spring arranged in the pump housing for moving the piston away from the piston housing, wherein the piston housing is rotatably connected to the pump housing enabling rotation of the piston housing around a piston housing rotation axis parallel to the longitudinal spin axis of the cam shaft.

Downhole hydraulic pump

A wireline tool for sampling/jetting fluid in a well includes a pump with an opening, and a chamber for collecting/jetting fluid, the chamber having first and second ends. The chamber includes first and second pistons dividing the chamber into first, second and third chamber sections. The first and second pistons are attached to respective piston rods, and the rods are supported by respective supports. A first spring is provided between the first piston and its support and another spring is provided between the second piston and its support. When the pump operates, the pistons are forced in one direction, hence activating spring forces of the springs and allowing fluid to flow from one chamber section to another chamber section.

Dual function downhole tool

The present invention relates to a downhole tool () for borehole cleaning or for moving fluid in a borehole. The tool comprises a tool housing (), a chamber inlet () and a chamber outlet (), and the tool housing comprises a pump () arranged in a pump housing () and a driving unit powered by an electrical conducting means for driving the pump.
