A long-length hose spliced from two or more hoses containing an inner sealing layer, at least two spirally laid reinforcing plies, and a cover. A liner forming the inner sealing layer is formed by leak-tight splicing of liners of hoses to be spliced and the reinforcing plies are embedded into filling/adhesive material inside of a rigid outer sleeve, at the location of the splicing.

A flexible, multilayer high-pressure hose with a diameter over 50 mm. It is suitable for conveying gases and gas-containing fluids. The hose contains a structure to vent gases and it is stable to the environment and to the material being conveyed therethrough.

A flexible rubber hose has a spiral wound reinforcing core of resin bonded fibers embedded in the rubber, and a reinforcing insert, which may be woven or spiral wound, on the outer side of the helical core. The fibers are preferably glass fibers embedded in epoxy or phenolic resin.
