The invention relates to a separator device of a compressor for the deposition of a fluid, in particular a lubricant from a coolant fluid of the compressor, including a separator cylinder having an inlet region for the coolant fluid and an outlet region for the deposited fluid spaced apart from inlet in an axial direction of the cylinder, and a separation tube configured and arranged coaxially in the separator cylinder. The separation tube extends at least over the inlet region of the separator cylinder such that the separation tube is spaced apart from the separator cylinder in a radial direction in the inlet region. A spring-loaded closure is configured and arranged in the inlet region to automatically regulate a flow velocity of a volume flow of the coolant fluid flowing through the inlet as a function of a pressure at the inlet.

The invention relates to a battery housing, in particular for an energy accumulator for a hybrid drive, comprising a tubular main body and at least two terminating covers, which are inserted into the main body and each have a cover plate that is offset inwards in the longitudinal direction of the main body and supports housing walls of the main body, wherein the terminating covers are each welded to the main body and all joints of the battery housing are formed without separate connecting elements.

Battery housing

For a technical object whose temperature is to be controlled, in particular a battery for an electric vehicle drive, there is provided a heat exchanger arrangement, the heat exchanger of which is in the form of a heat-exchanging pouch which has an inflow and outflow duct and which is in heat-conducting contact with internal surfaces of the object whose temperature is to be controlled. The heat-exchanging pouch is produced in a simple manner by means of edge welding of two foil pieces arranged one above the other. The mounting of said heat-exchanging pouch in a narrow gap space of a heat exchanger arrangement, and good heat transfer to adjacent walls, are made possible by means of a pressure pouch which is likewise formed from a foil material and which is filled with a compressible medium.

Heat-exchanger assembly

The battery has rod cells, which are arranged next to one another in multiple rows and the end-side electrical contacts of which are respectively electrically connected to one another in parallel and in series by a common contact plate. For effective cooling, a flat heat exchange pocket, through which a heat transfer medium flows, abuts against these contact plates. This heat exchange pocket consists of a multilayered thin film having an electrically insulating outer layer.

Battery

The friction clutch between the prime mover and the change-speed transmission in the power train of a motor vehicle is actuatable by a slave cylinder cooperating with a master cylinder wherein the piston is movable by a clutch pedal or by an electric actuator. The casing of the slave cylinder is made, at least in part, of a plastic material and defines a plenum chamber arranged to receive pressurized fluid from the master cylinder by way of a conduit extending through a bell which contains the clutch and the slave cylinder. The annular piston of the slave cylinder surrounds the input shaft of the transmission. The plastic material of the casing of the slave cylinder can contain one or more additives which enhance its strength and/or influence its frictional engagement with the adjacent surfaces of the piston or of a lip seal which reciprocates with the piston. The piston and/or the lip seal can be installed in the casing to contact one or two metallic or plastic guide sleeves which are connected to or form part of the casing.

A compliant link has a first member adapted to be connected to a linear actuator and a second member adapted to be connected to a component to be moved by the linear actuator, said members being interconnected by a connecting rod which is moveable relative to both the first and second members, springs acting between the first and second members and the connecting rod to oppose relative movement between the connecting rod and the first and second members when an axial load below a first predetermined value is applied to one of the members.

A master cylinder for the clutch or brake of a motor vehicle has a housing for a reciprocable piston one end of which receives the spherical head of a reciprocable piston rod. The head is held in a desired position relative to the piston by a one-piece or composite coupling device having a first section exerting a pull or bearing upon the head of the piston rod and a second section which is confined in or surrounds the end of the piston and urges the first section in a direction to hold the piston rod against axial movements relative to the piston. The coupling device and/or the piston are or can be made of a plastic material, and the connection between such parts is or can be established by snap action.

Master cylinder

A release bearing (1) for actuating a gearshift clutch of an automotive vehicle comprises an angular contact ball bearing (3) in which forces are transmitted from one bearing raceway to another bearing raceway at an angle of pressure .alpha. to the transverse plane of the angular contact ball bearing (3). To improve the bearing capacity of such a release bearing (1), the angle of pressure .alpha. is configured to be .gtoreq.36.degree. and &lt;45.degree.. Friction between the balls and the raceways of the angular contact ball bearing is reduced by the fact that an osculation K.sub.AU on the outer ring (6) is .gtoreq.1.15 and an osculation K.sub.IR on the inner ring (10) is .gtoreq.1.07.

Release bearing for actuating gearshift clutch of an automotive vehicle

An electromagnetic drive mechanism (1) for the periodic movement of at least one valve (2) for gas exchange of an internal combustion engine is provided. The valve (2) includes a disc-type rotor (9) located at an end (8) of its shaft (5). The rotor (9) is surrounded by a stator (12), a small gap (22) located between the rotor and the stator. The rotor (9) and stator (12) have ring windings (10, 13). When the stator (12) is supplies with electric voltage from a voltage converter (13a) with a microprocessor (14), the rotor (9) with the valve (2) is moved axially by the magnetic field which forms. The drive mechanism (1) operates selectively as a synchronous motor, reluctance motor, or asynchronous motor, and is provided with mechanisms (21) for current regeneration so that after the electric drive mechanism (1) is turned off immediately before reaching an excursion limit of the valve (2), the electric power gained in this way can be stored intermediately and supplied for the next lifting travel to the drive mechanism (1).

Drive mechanism for periodically moving at least one valve

A tensioning device for a traction element includes a tensioner arm having a tension roller which is spring-loaded against the traction element. The tensioner arm is rotatably supported relative to a housing by means of a conical sliding bearing exhibiting parallel sliding bearing surfaces which extend concentric to the tensioner arm shaft. A helical torsion spring wound along the tensioner arm shaft and clamped between a support secured on the tensioner arm and a fixed support area exerts an axial force which is introduced into the sliding bearing as a reaction force perpendicular to the sliding bearing surfaces.

Tensioning device for traction means with cone-type sliding bearing

In a belt or chain tensioner a sliding bearing ring is arranged between an element rigidly connected to the housing and an element rigidly connected to the tension arm. In order to achieve an improved damping, the sliding bearing ring is provided at one place with a through-slot into which engages a projection on one of the two elements. In addition, the sliding bearing ring is preferably provided with at least two, and preferably more, axially oriented grooves which define narrow and flexible lamellae formed between them. The lamellae are inclined with respect to and bear against a facing peripheral surface of one of the two elements in order to obtain a direction-dependent damping, since the lamellae are easily pushed aside in one direction of rotation but are entrained and pushed up into an upright position in the opposite direction of rotation.

A radial bearing which can be pressurized by a pressure medium and is arranged between two elements of a load-switchable transmission which rotate at different speeds, a hydraulic pressure medium flowing through the radial bearing causing engagement of a multiplate clutch, and radial sealing rings (10,11) being arranged between the two elements of said transmission in a region of the radial bearing on each side of a pressure medium passage, characterized in that the radial bearing is configured as a rolling bearing whose rolling elements (7,8) are bearing needles guided in a cage (9) which comprises several preferably circumferentially uniformly spaced radial through-apertures (20).

A needle roller bearing (1) comprising an outer bearing ring (6), an inner bearing ring (8) arranged on a shaft (3) and needle rollers (9) which roll on mutually facing peripheral surfaces of said outer and inner bearing rings (6,8), characterized in that at one axial end, the outer bearing ring (6) and the inner bearing ring (8) comprise radially overlapping flanges (11,12) located axially next to each other with an axial sliding ring (13) arranged therebetween which bears against mutually facing end faces of said flanges (11,12) and, together with these flanges (11,12) and a peripheral surface of one of the bearing rings (6), defines a pressure chamber (15), pressure oil from the interior of the bearing penetrating into this pressure chamber (15) and flowing from there with a clear loss of pressure out of the needle roller bearing (1) by passing between at least one of said end faces of the flanges (11,12) and the axial sliding ring (13).
