A safety fuse includes a housing, a first contact blade having a protruding portion protruding from the housing along a first direction, a second contact blade having a protruding portion protruding from the housing, and a fusion section enclosed in the housing and connecting the first contact blade and the second contact blade. The protruding portion of the first contact blade includes two lateral edges extending in the first direction and a linear bend arranged on one of the lateral edges. The bend extends in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction.

A busbar is provided for a power distributor in vehicles. The busbar comprises at least one fastening region for fuses. The fastening region is separated by at least one slot which cuts through the busbar from the remaining part of the busbar to such an extent that the fastening region is only connected to the remaining part of the busbar by a web. The cross section of the web is smaller compared to the adjacent fastening region and the adjacent remaining part of the busbar.

A power distributor for use in vehicles is provided. The power distributor includes a base module having a central power feed and at least two universal modules, thereby forming a modular structure of the power distributor. The universal modules have defined geometries and are mechanically and electrically removably connectable to corresponding locations on the base module. Each universal module includes at least one electrical component. The base module includes a printed circuit board having at least one of current conducting paths and at least one bus bar. The base module comprises contact connectors for connection to loads of the vehicle. An electrical component is also provided as a semi-finished product for further processing in vehicles. The electrical component includes a bus bar and a lamellar contact attached thereto.

Modular power distributor

A fuse unit for use in e.g. motor vehicles, includes an electrically conductive busbar and a plurality of connections for individual power consuming components which are connected to the busbar directly or by way of interposed fusible links so as to be electrically conductive. The busbar has a contact blade adapted to plug into a mating connector of a power supply without the interposition of a further connection between them.

Fuse unit

A device for removing or inserting a fuse, in particular an automotive safety fuse from or into a fuse base in a fuse strip. The device has a first and a second elongate arm each of which has a distal end and a proximal end whereby an engaging section that may be brought into engagement with the fuse is provided in the distal end portion of the first and the second arm. The device further includes a first connecting section connecting the first and the second arm to each other and provided proximally to the engaging section. The device has a second connecting section to connect the arms at a distance proximally to the first connecting sections and the first and second arms are articulated in such a way that reducing the distance between the two arms in the portion between the two connecting sections causes the distance between the distal ends of the two arms to increase, and that reducing the distance of the two arms in the portion proximal to the second connecting section causes the distance between the distal ends of the two arms to decrease.
