A wind turbine blade includes a plurality of add-on elements, which are arranged on an outer surface of the blade, wherein the plurality of add-on elements includes at least one flexible add-on element and at least one stiff add-on element of the same add-on element type, wherein the flexible add-on element is made at least predominantly of an elastic material and the stiff add-on element are made at least predominantly of a stiff material, which is stiffer than the elastic material, wherein the flexible add-on element and the stiff add-on element are arranged offset in span-wise direction and/or in chord-wise direction of the blade.

Provided is a system for determining a soiling state of a wind turbine rotor blade. The system includes a pressure sensor adapted to measure a plurality of pressure values corresponding to a plurality of different heights above a trailing edge region of the wind turbine rotor blade, and a processing unit in communication with the pressure sensor and adapted to determine the soiling state of the wind turbine rotor blade by estimating an air flow velocity distribution above the trailing edge region of the wind turbine rotor blade based on the plurality of pressure values. The flow guiding device is arranged at a relative chordal position, seen from the leading edge of the blade, lying in an interval between 40% and 92%. The relative height of the flow guiding device is at least 10% of a maximum thickness of the profiled contour.

The first longitudinal segment is provided with a number of first flow altering devices arranged so as to adjust the aerodynamic properties of the first longitudinal segment to substantially meet the target induction factor at the design point.
