The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing of a laminated cellulose-based liquid or semi-liquid food packaging material, wherein the laminated packaging material has a bulk material layer of paper, paperboard or other cellulose-based material, an innermost, heat sealable and liquid-tight layer of a thermoplastic polymer, the innermost polymer layer intended to be in direct contact with the packaged food product, a barrier layer laminated between the bulk layer and the innermost layer. The invention further relates the laminated packaging materials obtained by the method and to a packaging container for liquid food packaging, comprising the laminated packaging material or being made from the laminated packaging material obtained by the method.

Disclosed is a method for manufacturing a low-cost tape having excellent gas-barrier properties which is suitable as a strip tape for liquid food containers. Also disclosed is such a tape. Specifically disclosed is a strip tape including an intermediate layer composed of a drawn polyester film, a band-like coating film of an ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer which is formed on a surface of the intermediate layer in the central zone of the strip tape in the transverse direction, non-coated bands formed on both sides of the coating film, and heat-sealing outermost layers composed of a low-density polyethylene or the like.

A process for producing a web-like laminate material for packaging container composed of a base layer and a thermally sealable inner layer, comprising: introducing an oxygen-containing gas in a silver vapor atmosphere; carrying a web-like base film in the silver vapor atmosphere to form a thin film of metallic silver on a surface of the web-like base film; oxidizing the thin film into a thin film of silver oxide; drawing out the base film provided with the thin film of silver oxide from the silver vapor atmosphere to obtain a web-like base layer; laminating an inner face of the web-like base layer with a thermally sealable inner layer, printing a container design on an outer face of the web-like base layer; and forming a thermoplastic layer or a support layer on the outer face and inner face of the web-like base layer. A seal zone, vicinity thereof and entirety of the container can be formed in an antibacterial atmosphere or with an antibacterial material.

Process for producing packaging laminate material

The present invention is drawn to a strip tape which does not undergo lowering of bonding force and which does not cause pollution of the natural environment, working environment, etc. The strip tape includes a center layer containing a polar resin, and at least one polyolefin layer laminated, via a bonding layer, on each face of the center layer. The bonding layer contains an ethylene-methacrylic acid-alkyl acrylate random copolymer. Since the strip tape includes a center layer and at least one polyolefin layer, the interlayer bonding force of the strip tape is high, the bonding strength between the center layer and the polyolefin layer can be increased, and the waterproofing property of the strip tape can be enhanced. Even when a packaging container including the strip tape is heated or cooled sharply during use, the interlayer bonding force of the strip tape is not lowered.

A method for producing a laminated material, which comprises providing a raw material roll containing a support layer, drawing out a support layer in a web form from the raw material roll, transferring a silver-based thin film layer on an inner face of the inside of the support layer including a zone to be heat-sealed by the high frequency induction heating for the formation of a container, prior to or after the transferring step, laminating a heat-sealable inner layer on the inside of the support layer, printing the design of the container on the outside of the support layer in a long web form, and forming one or more thermoplastic layers of the same type or different types, at the same time or sequentially, on the outside and the inside of the printed support layer in a web form. The method allows a sealing zone to be formed so as to have an antibacterial atmosphere.

In the manufacture of a paper container from packaging materials, damage of internal layers of packaging materials is promptly inspected, and degradation by light exposure of content can be prevented. A method of manufacturing light barrier paper packaging materials for liquid food formed from a laminate having a paper layer, a thermoplastic resin outside layer, and a thermoplastic resin inside layer include preparing a substantially completely bleached white bleached paper layer, providing a light barrier layer of light barrier material on the inside of the bleached paper layer before or during lamination of the thermoplastic resin inside layer, and inspecting for defects of the obtained laminate by observation of the visible or invisible inside surface of the bleached paper layer from the thermoplastic resin inside layer side of the obtained laminate through the light barrier layer.

Paper packaging material for liquid food and method for production thereof

A paper packaging container is formed from the packaging material comprising constitution layers of at least an outside thermoplastic material layer, a paper substrate layer, and an inside thermoplastic material layer, wherein the inside thermoplastic material layer contains at least a linear low density polyethylene, and has properties parameters of an average density of 0.900&#x2013;0.930, a predetermined peak melting point, a melt flow index of 5&#x2013;15, and a swelling ratio of 1.3&#x2013;1.8. The use of the packaging material allows easy filling and packaging to the packaging container and quick heat sealing, and results in more toughly and strongly sealed container, and the material can be used for achieved good sealing independently of the temperature of food contents and thus maintaining the non-scalping and quality preservability of the content product.

Laminated packaging material for paper container

This invention relates to the laminated material for food packaging, and its manufacturing process. The laminated material () consists of the quality keeping intermediate layer () laminated inside the paper core layer () and the core layer and the heat sealable innermost layer (). The quality keeping intermediate layer comprises of an extrusion coatable blend polymer consisting of polymer component A 50-95% of nylon-MXD6 or EVOH and, polymer component B 5-50% of nylon 6, nylon 6, the blends or PET. The quality keeping intermediate layer is extruded and laminated directly in the core layer, the innermost layer contains at least the linear low density polyethylene which has a narrow molecular weight distribution, and has the properties parameter of mean density of 0.910-0.925, 100-122 degrees C. peak melting point, melt flow index of 5-20, swelling ratio (SR) of 1.4-1.6, and 5-50 micrometer layer thickness. The hardness, production efficiency, and cost performance of the barrier packaging container formed by the packaging material are improved.

Laminated packaging material and method for producing the same

A method for filling a container involves supplying a barrier layer to the inside of a container and irradiating the inside with a high energy ray to form a barrier layer on the inner surface of the container and simultaneously sterilizing the inside and discharging a residual barrier material precursor gas and a by-product gas from the container before or during the filling of liquid food into the container. The method allows the formation of a continuous barrier layer covering edges, gloves, clearances and gaps inside the container. Automatic and effective discharge of a residual barrier material precursor gas and a by-product gas from the container through the filling of liquid food is allowed. The method avoids the necessity of chemical disinfectants through sterilization of the inside of a container by irradiation with a high energy ray and thereafter filling a liquid food in an aseptic state.

Method for filling, apparatus for filling, and container for filling and packaging

A packaging material laminate comprises at least a printing ink outer layer, an aluminium vapor deposition film layer containing linear low density polyethylene obtained by a polymerization using metallocene catalyst, a polyethylene-extrusion lamination layer, and a carrier layer of paper or paper substitution material. The method of manufacturing includes the steps of vapor-depositing aluminium on one side of the web film containing linear low density polyethylene obtained by the polymerization using metallocene catalyst, winding up the aluminium vapor deposition film temporarily in a reel form, making direct contact between the aluminium vapor deposition surface and the film surface containing a linear low density polyethylene, keeping the reel in predetermined time, unwinding the aluminium vapor deposition film from the kept reel, applying a fused lamination resin by the extrusion lamination by fused polyethylene, between the vapor deposition surface of the aluminium vapor deposition film layer and the surface of the barrier layer, laminating the aluminium vapor deposition film layer and the carrier layer, forming an ink layer in the appearance surface of the outside of the laminate by printing.
