A detonating arrangement for missiles in which, as a result of a change of the magnetic field of a permanent magnet at an approach to a ferromagnetic object, a voltage will be induced in an induction element, which is transmissible to the control input of electronic evaluating circuit powering a detonating medium.

Detonating arrangement for missiles

An electrical projectile detonator which includes a voltage source, an impact detector, a timing element as well as an ignition switch which is arranged intermediate the voltage source and a detonating agent, and wherein the timing element is connected with the impact detector and the ignition switch.

Electrical projectile detonator

A detonator for the electrical ignition or detonation of detonating materials, such as explosives. The detonator incorporates at least one piezo element which is at least partially encompassed by a secondary explosive. The piezo element is subjected to a steeply rising voltage impulse and thereby rapidly expanded so as to generate a shock wave which will detonate the secondary explosive.

Detonator without initiating explosive

Generator for generating electrical ignition or detonation energy in a spin projectile through a piezo element utilizing the spin of the projectile for generating the electrical energy. The piezo element lies against the interior of the projectile shell and is polarized radially relative to the longitudinal axis of the projectile. Preferably, the piezo element is of tubular configuration. A core is radially movably supported interiorly of the projectile shell so as to charge the piezo element during the rotational acceleration of the projectile.

Generator for a spin-projectile

A generator for generating electrical ignition energy through a piezo element in a spin projectile. A guide band on the projectile deforms upon entry into the riflings of a weapon barrel. To generate the ignition energy due to the deformation of the guide band, the piezo element is a tubular member polarized radially relative to the longitudinal axis of the projectile. The outer circumference of the piezo element lies against the projectile shell. The piezo element is stiffened along its inner circumference by a stiffener ring positioned thereagainst.

Generator for a spin projectile having a guide band

An electrical projectile detonator, particularly a base detonator, containing a piezoceramic cell as a current generator. The cell is retained against the inside of the projectile base or base screw. A rupture plate is positioned on the outside of the base at a predetermined spacing from the cell. The rupture plate is adapted to be disintegrated by the gas pressure of the projectile propellent charge to thereby produce a shock wave in the projectile base. This shock wave propagates within the projectile and loads the piezoceramic cell so as to generate a voltage in the cell.

An electronic ignition circuit for the self-destruction of a projectile fuse, including two condensers chargeable from a single generator, such as a piezoelectric cell. A delay circuit initiates the discharge of the first condenser through an igniter, with the generator raising the voltage of the first condenser to a level necessary for the igniter and that of the second condenser required for operation of the delay circuit.

Electronic ignition circuit

An electronic ignition circuit for the self-destruction of a projectile fuse, including a voltage source and a charging condenser determinative of the time interval until self-destruction. A threshold switch is responsive to a predetermined minimum voltage at the charging condenser for igniting an igniter, and an electronic control circuit is connected between the voltage source and the charging condenser.
