Computer-implemented methods are disclosed for determining a flow rate of fluid flow at a target time through a pump, such as a centrifugal pump, the pump being driven by a pump motor. An illustrative method includes, in some aspects: receiving at least one set of previous parameter values including a first previous parameter value indicative of a first operational parameter of the pump motor at a previous time, earlier than the target time, and a second previous parameter value indicative of a second operational parameter of the pump motor at the previous time, and receiving a current set of parameter values including a first current parameter value indicative of the first operational parameter of the pump motor at the target time and a second current parameter value indicative of the second operational parameter of the pump motor at the target time.

Method for determining a fluid flow rate through a pump

A method carries out an outside temperature-dependent control of at least one thermal power indicative parameter of a supply temperature of a first heating or cooling system in a first building (H). The control is carried out on the basis of the at least one thermal power indicative parameter. The at least one thermal power indicative parameter is indicative of the heat consumption or of the cooling power of at least one second heating or cooling system of a second building (H', H&#x2033;, H&#x2032;&#x2033;), located at a distance from the first building, and is received via a data network (), in particular, via the Internet. An arrangement is provided for controlling a first heating or cooling system of a first building, wherein the arrangement is adapted to carry out the method mentioned above. A server is further provided that is adapted to receive at least one thermal power indicative parameter.

Method for carrying out an outside temperature-related control

A centrifugal pump includes at least one pump stage (). This pump stage () includes an impeller () which is mounted rotationally fixed on a pump shaft (). Apart from the pump stage (), the centrifugal pump is equipped with a turbine wheel () which is arranged on the pump shaft (), without a movement coupling to the pump shaft, in the delivery flow of the centrifugal pump. This turbine wheel () forms a transducer of a flow measuring device. A blading of the turbine wheel () is such that a torque exerted by the delivery flow onto the turbine wheel (') is directed counter to a torque exerted via the pump shaft () onto the impeller ().
