The present disclosure relates to a radar level gauge having a tank feed through structure with an elongated transmission member, wherein an inner surface of a dielectric sleeve is in abutment with, and encloses, a radially extending protrusion of the transmission member such as to conform with the shape of the radially extending protrusion. The present disclosure also relates to a method of manufacturing such a tank feed through structure.

A radar level gauge comprising a signal propagation device, a dielectric filling member arranged in the signal propagation device, and a sealing arrangement for preventing tank content from escaping into the outside environment, wherein the dielectric filling member comprises a main body and a sealing arrangement comprising a first sealing portion. The radar level gauge further comprises a structural reinforcement element positioned above the first sealing portion.

A gauging instrument intended to be sealingly mounted on a nozzle of a tank, and comprising an attachment collar intended to mate with said nozzle so as to face the product in the tank, a dielectric filling member with a radially extending collar portion which abuts an outer rim of said attachment collar, and an annular spring element arranged between the outer rim the radially extending collar portion. One or several fastening elements are configured to secure the attachment collar to, and in mating relationship with, the nozzle, such that the radially extending collar portion is sandwiched between the outer rim of the attachment collar and the nozzle, and the annular spring element exerts a contact pressure on the collar portion against the nozzle to thereby ensure a process seal.

A radar level gauge comprising a signal propagation device, a dielectric filling member arranged in the signal propagation device, and a sealing arrangement for preventing tank content from escaping into the outside environment. The dielectric filling member includes a main body formed of a polymer material, and at least one structurally reinforced element formed of a modified polymer material providing, the modified polymer material being obtained by modifying the polymer material with a filler material, wherein the at least one structurally reinforced element is integrally formed with the main body by sintering, and forms part of the sealing arrangement. The present invention is based on the realization that a structurally reinforced element, made of a modified polymer material, may be integrated into the main body by sintering.

A radar level gauge including a wave guiding structure and a cavity formed inside the wave guiding structure, and a dielectric filling member arranged at least partly within said cavity. The dielectric filling member includes a main body formed of a polymer material, at least one microwave absorbing element formed of a modified polymer material providing a microwave attenuation of at least 1 dB/centimeter at an operating frequency of the radar level gauge, the modified polymer material being obtained by modifying said polymer material with a filler material, wherein the at least one microwave absorbing element is integrally formed with said main body by sintering.

A radar level gauge comprising a directional antenna, a hollow wave guide connected to the antenna, a tank connection having a through hole with an annular abutment, a dielectric filling member arranged in the tank connection, the dielectric filling member comprising an annular collar portion resting against the annular abutment, a clamping member inserted into the tank connection, a fastening member attached to the fixed tank connection to secure the clamping member between the fastening member and the annular abutment, and a spring member arranged between the fastening member and the clamping member. The spring member presses the clamping member towards the annular abutment, to apply a controlled pressure on the annular collar portion, allowing the annular collar portion to serve as a pressure tight sealing between a tank interior and a tank exterior.
