A device is described for detachable contacting of a battery cell () having a cell receptacle open against a joining direction (), which cell receptacle is delimited by a contact spring base (), from which contact tongues () protrude against the joining direction () for the jacket-side enclosure of the battery cell (). To propose a device for detachable contacting of a battery cell (), which enables a reliable electrical connection independently of the relative location of the inserted battery cells and substantially independently of their diameter even in the event of periodic mechanical strains, without making the assembling procedure more difficult, it is proposed that the contact tongues () have contact bodies () protruding radially into the cell receptacle in the form of a cut ovoid.

Device for making releasable contact with a battery cell

A device for breaking the electrical connection to a battery cell () in the event of outgassing has the cell pole () on the outgassing valve side connected to an electrical contact point () at a connection point () via a connecting lead () which forms a fuse. The device, requiring few components and having a compact design, enables a reliable electrical and thermal protection of neighboring cells of an outgassing battery cell against overloading and prevents the spread of a thermal runaway. The device provides a spacer () between the connection point () and the contact point () that electrically isolates the connection point () from the contact point () in the event of outgassing and that retains the cell pole ().

A temperature-control apparatus has individual battery cells combined to form a module and arranged within a flow duct through which a temperature-control fluid flows in a main flow direction. Temperature regulation of a temperature-control apparatus is improved with a constant packing density of the battery cells despite small amounts of temperature-control fluid, with a flow guiding surface provided for each battery cell of a group. The flow guiding surface is spaced apart from a lateral section of the battery cell and has in each case an inlet section and an outlet section that are both substantially parallel to the lateral section. A diffuser section is arranged between the inlet section and the outlet section, the diffuser section-being set back with respect to the inlet section and the outlet section and with respect to the lateral section.

The invention relates to a device with a carrier () having an opening () for receiving a battery cell () on the casing side, which carrier () has a measuring channel () extending between a carrier outer wall () and the opening () for a measuring head () which has a locking device for a measuring position set against the battery cell casing (). In order to design a device of the type described at the beginning in such a way that a regulation adapted to the inhomogeneous distribution of the state variables within a battery module and within a battery cell is made possible and, at the same time, an industrial production of battery modules, in particular their assembly, is favored, it is proposed that the measuring head () has a galvanic contact point () of a voltage sensor, which contact point (), in the measuring position, rests against the battery cell casing () which forms an electrical pole.

A cooling device for battery cells assembled to form a module, having a base body and an insert which has receptacles for an end portion of the battery cells with recesses in the cell head. The insert together with the base body delimits a flow channel for a temperature control fluid A cooling device of this type permits operationally reliable accommodation of the battery cells with low manufacturing costs and high temperature control performance, without having to take manufacturing tolerances into account in advance. The receptacles form a fluid-tight membrane which encloses the end portion of the battery cells, which membrane is deformable for tolerance compensation of the individual battery cells and rests against the cell bottom when the flow channel is filled.
