A coiling heat exchanger, characterized by a heat exchanger spiral consisting of a liquid shield with fins, whereby neighboring coils of the spiral of the liquid shield are spaced apart from one another by the fins and connected to one another in a heat exchanging manner and that the liquid shield is perfused by liquid, whereby gas flows between the neighboring coils of the spiral of the liquid shield along the coiling axis.

The present invention relates to a heat exchanger for exhaust gas cooling, in particular for motor vehicles. The heat exchanger includes a flow duct which is formed from heat exchange tubes being arranged in parallel to one another, and through which the exhaust gas to be cooled can flow and around which a liquid coolant can flow, and secondly includes a housing having a housing wall and tube bottoms. The housing wall and the tube bottoms delimit a flow chamber for the coolant. The heat exchange tubes being arranged so as to form a tube bundle are formed with straight sections and deflection zones, wherein the heat exchange tubes in at least two deflection zones sweep an angle of at least 90&#xb0;.

S-bent tube cooler

A device of a system for air ducting of an internal combustion engine in a motor vehicle with a turbocharger arranged between an exhaust gas line and an intake line. The device includes a high pressure flow pathway with a valve branching from the exhaust gas line between the internal combustion engine and a turbine side of the turbocharger, a low pressure flow pathway with a valve branching in the flow direction of the exhaust gas downstream from the turbine side of the turbocharger, and an exhaust gas heat exchanger. A first flow pathway with a valve and a second flow pathway with a valve merge into a mouth region with a third flow pathway. At least one section of the high pressure flow pathway, the low pressure flow pathway, the flow pathways, and the exhaust gas heat exchanger are integrated inside a housing formed as a continuous compact unit.

High and low pressure EGR with a common valve housing

A device for the recycling of exhaust gas of an internal combustion engine in a motor vehicle. The device comprises an exhaust gas heat exchanger constructed with a first housing element with an inlet and an outlet for the exhaust gas and at least one inlet and at least one outlet for a coolant, and a compressor which is constructed with a second housing element with an inlet and an outlet for the exhaust gas. The first housing element of the exhaust gas heat exchanger and the second housing element of the compressor are constructed as a housing connected to a cohesive, compact component so that the exhaust gas heat exchanger and the compressor are arranged inside the housing.

The invention relates to a bypass valve, particularly a two-way valve for exhaust gas flows from motor vehicles, having a valve housing and an actuating mechanism with a valve flap and two ports for fluid outlet, which are embodied as alternately sealable by the valve flap, and one port for fluid intake, characterized in that at each of the ports for fluid outlet an adapter and sealing ring is provided, arranged at least partially and fluid-tight in the valve housing, wherein the valve flap can be positioned fluid-tight on the adapter and sealing ring.

Sheet metal exhaust bypass valve

A heat exchanger for an exhaust gas train of a motor vehicle with an exhaust gas carrying exchanger tube that is formed separately and is disposed in a closed housing formed separately, a coolant flowing through the housing and around the outer surface of the exchanger tube. The housing includes a housing portion that forms one common mechanical interface for connecting the heat exchanger to the exhaust gas train and a coolant circuit of the motor vehicle.
