The invention relates to an optical microlens array and to a method for manufacturing an optical microlens arrays, wherein the method includes, among other things: providing a substrate having a first side and an opposite second side. The method further includes applying a photoresist to the first side of the substrate at least in portions, and structuring the photoresist such that the structured photoresist remains at predetermined locations on the first side of the substrate where one optical microlens each is to be later arranged. In addition, the method includes applying a hydrophobic coating to the first side of the substrate and subsequently removing the structured photoresist including the hydrophobic coating located thereon from the first side of the substrate. Furthermore, according to the invention, one microlens each is arranged on the spots of the first side of the substrate that are freed from the structured photoresist.

In a method for manufacturing a structure of curable material, a first structure from a first curable material is molded and cured on a substrate, and a second structure of a second curable material is molded and cured on a first surface of the first structure facing away from the substrate, so that at the first surface of the first structure a boundary surface forms between the first and second structures so that the first structure is not covered by the second structure in a passage area. A solvent is introduced into the passage area to dissolve the first curable material of the first structure so that a cavity forms between the second structure and the first surface of the substrate. After curing, the first curable material is soluble and the second curable material is insoluble for the solvent. An optical component and an optical layer stack are made of curable material.

A method of producing a structure from curable material by molding includes arranging a molding tool above a surface, so that in a region between the molding tool and the surface, the curable material adjoins the surface and a molding face of the molding tool which faces the surface, and so that additional curable material may continue to flow into the region. The method further includes irradiating the curable material in the region in a locally varying manner, so that the curable material cures at different speeds in a laterally varying manner and that shrinkages occurring during curing of the curable material are compensated for by the additional curable material. The method further includes applying a constant pressure to the additional curable material. Moreover, a second method and an apparatus for producing a structure from curable material by molding and a molding tool for an optical component are described.

An optical device for imaging is disclosed having at least one micro lens field with at least two micro lenses and one image sensor with at least two image detector matrices. The at least two image detector matrices each include a plurality of image detectors and there is an allocation between the image detector matrices and the micro lenses, so that each micro lens together with an image detector matrix forms an optical channel. The center points of the image detector matrices are shifted laterally by different distances, with respect to centroids, projected onto the image detector matrices, of the micro lens apertures of the associated optical channels, so that the optical channels have different partially overlapping detection areas and so that an overlapping area of the detection areas of two channels is imaged onto the image detector matrices offset with respect to an image detector raster of the image detector matrices.
