Systems and apparatuses include an endpoint structured to be coupled to an outdoor power equipment and including an operation sensor structured to provide operational information indicative of an operational status of the outdoor power equipment, and a transmitter structured to wirelessly transmit the operational information; and a gateway including a receiver structured to receive the operational information from the endpoint, and one or more processing circuits comprising one or more memory devices coupled to one or more processors, the one or more memory devices configured to store instructions thereon that, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the one or more processors to: associate the operational information with a timestamp, record a history of operational information and associated timestamps, and transmit the history to an external device.

Equipment tracking system

An autonomous lawn mower includes removable batteries, one or more electric motors, a cutting blade, one or more wheels, an angle sensor, and a controller. The cutting blade is driven by one of the electric motors. The wheels are driven by one of the electric motors. The controller is configured to allow the lawn mower to perform a grass cutting function at a jobsite without human interaction. The controller is configured to determine whether a roll angle is greater than a first predefined amount using data from the angle sensor. In response to determining the roll angle is greater than the first predefined amount, the controller is configured to stop operation of one of the one or more electric motors configured to provide rotational drive power to the cutting blade.

Systems and devices for lawn care

A system for providing autonomous lawn care services. The system includes a number of autonomous outdoor power devices, and one or more service vehicles. The one or more service vehicles are configured to selectively load and unload one or more of the autonomous outdoor power devices at a jobsite based on instructions received by a controller of the one or more service vehicles.

Systems and devices for autonomous lawn care

A cap assembly includes a body and a tether. The body is configured to be fastened to a container for closing an opening in the container. An aperture is formed in the body, and the tether has a fastener, where a portion of the fastener extends through the aperture in the body. A gap is formed between the portion of the fastener and the body that allows for venting of vapors from the container around the portion of the fastener that is extending through the aperture.

Fuel cap

A fuel tank cap includes a housing having a side wall, a bottom wall, and a receptacle, a fuel vapor adsorption material positioned within the receptacle, an inlet at least partially defined by the bottom wall and configured to provide fluid communication with a fuel tank vapor space, an outlet at least partially defined by the bottom wall and configured to provide fluid communication with the atmosphere, an internal wall extending from the bottom wall at least partially into the receptacle, and an aperture at least partially defined by the internal wall and configured to permit fuel vapor to flow in a vapor flow path from one side of the internal wall to the other side of the internal wall.

Fuel tank cap for a fuel tank

A baffle device, configured to be disposed near an outlet of a fuel tank, includes a fitting having an aperture therethrough and a first baffle. The first baffle includes a passageway in fluid communication with the aperture and a first baffle aperture configured to permit entry of fuel vapor into the passageway and exit of fuel vapor from the passageway. The baffle device also includes a second baffle overlying at least a portion of the first baffle aperture.

Fuel tank assembly and baffle device

A fuel tank cap for a fuel tank of an engine. The fuel tank cap includes a fuel cap cover, a housing having a side wall, a bottom wall, and a receptacle, a fuel vapor adsorption material positioned within the receptacle, an inlet disposed near the bottom wall and configured to provide fluid communication with a fuel tank vapor space, an outlet disposed near the bottom wall and configured to provide fluid communication with the atmosphere, an internal wall adjacent the bottom wall and disposed between the inlet and the outlet, and at least one aperture configured to permit fuel vapor to flow in a vapor flow path from one side of the internal wall to the other side of the internal wall.

An air cleaner for an engine that includes a fuel tank and an air-fuel mixing device. The air cleaner includes a housing that defines an internal filter space and a canister at least partially formed as part of the housing. The canister is substantially non-permeable to fuel vapor. A first aperture provides fluid communication between the fuel tank and the canister and a second aperture provides fluid communication between the canister and the air-fuel mixing device.

Integrated air cleaner and vapor containment system

A family of canisters that includes at least two canisters that are adapted to filter a flow of fluid from a fuel tank. Each canister includes a first portion that defines a first perimeter and a first area each common to all canisters of the family. A second portion defines a second perimeter and a second area each common to all canisters of the family. A cover portion defines a third perimeter and a third area each common to all canisters of the family. A body portion cooperates with the first portion, the second portion, and the cover portion to define an interior space having a volume, a characteristic dimension, and a characteristic length. The volume of each canister of the family is different and the ratio of the characteristic length to characteristic dimension of each of the canisters is between about 1.5 and 5.

Filter canister family

A fuel tank for an engine that includes an air cleaner assembly and an air-fuel mixing device. The fuel tank includes a first tank portion and a second tank portion connected to the first tank portion to define a fuel chamber. A canister is at least partially formed as part of the second tank portion and a first flow path is at least partially formed as part of the first tank portion. The first flow path provides fluid communication between the fuel chamber and the canister. A second flow path is at least partially formed as part of the second tank portion to provide fluid communication between the canister and at least one of the air-fuel mixing device and the air cleaner assembly.

Integrated fuel tank and vapor containment system

A cap for covering an opening of a spout. The cap includes a top that defines an inner surface and an outer surface. An engagement portion extends from the inner surface and is adapted to engage the spout. A wall extends from the inner surface to define a container-receiving space and a pierce point extends from the inner surface and is at least partially disposed within the container-receiving space.

Cap for a fuel container

A stationary fuel storage system that includes a stationary fuel tank that defines a tank volume adapted to store a quantity of fuel. An evaporative emission device is disposed outside of the tank volume and defines a device volume that is in fluid communication with the atmosphere. A mass of fuel vapor adsorbing material is disposed within the device volume and a vent conduit provides fluid communication between the fuel tank and the evaporative emission device.

Stationary evaporative emission control system

A fuel tank for an engine that includes an air cleaner assembly and an air-fuel mixing device. The fuel tank includes a first tank portion, a second tank portion connected to the first tank portion to define a fuel chamber, and a canister at least partially formed as part of the first tank portion. A first flow path is at least partially formed as part of the first tank portion. The first flow path provides fluid communication between the fuel chamber and the canister. A second flow path is at least partially formed as part of the first tank portion to provide fluid communication between the canister and at least one of the air-fuel mixing device and the air cleaner assembly.

A fuel vapor control system that is adapted for use with internal combustion engines includes a fuel tank, an evaporative emission control device containing activated carbon and including a first orifice that fluidly communicates with the fuel tank via a vent line. A second orifice in the control device is open to the atmosphere. A purge tube is between a filter element and a venturi section of the engine and fluidly communicates with a third orifice in the control device via a vapor line. Fuel vapors are absorbed by the activated carbon when the engine is not running, and the carbon releases the fuel vapors to the engine via the purge tube when the engine is running.

Internal combustion engine evaporative emission control system

The invention recites an apparatus that delivers a fuel additive to a fuel. The apparatus includes a housing that defines a fuel additive chamber. The housing has a release section that automatically releases a portion of the fuel additive from the chamber into the fuel.
