An air-conditioning system is provided, comprising: an air conditioner including a first fan having a first fan input configured to receive first input air, and a first fan output configured to generate a first output air stream in a horizontal direction, and a second fan having a second fan input configured to receive second input air, and a second fan output configured to generate a second output air stream in the horizontal direction; an air baffle including a first upflow duct attached to the air-conditioner and configured to direct the first output air stream into a first deflected air stream flowing in a first direction between 0 degrees and 45 degrees from vertical, and a second upflow duct attached to the air-conditioner and configured to direct the second output air stream into a second deflected air stream flowing in a second direction between 0 degrees and 45 degrees from vertical.

A condensation collection system including a housing, a heat-exchanging coil located in the housing, a drain pan located in the housing and underneath the heat-exchanging coil, a water-sensitive element located in the housing and underneath both the heat-exchanging coil and the drain pan. The drain pan is configured to collect condensation from an interior of the housing. The drain pan includes a bottom, three or more exterior walls that generally conform to an interior perimeter of the housing, a primary drain located on a first exterior wall selected from the three or more exterior walls, and a controlled overflow drain located on a second exterior wall selected from the three or more exterior walls. The primary drain is configured to drain collected condensation from the drain pan. The controlled overflow drain is configured to drain the collected condensation from the drain pan.

An air conditioning system includes: first and second utilization side heat exchangers and a heat source side heat exchanger respectively connected in series; a compressor connected between the first utilization side heat exchanger and the heat source side heat exchanger; an expansion valve connected between the first utilization side heat exchanger and the second utilization side heat exchanger; a pressure control device connected between the second utilization side heat exchanger and the heat source side heat exchanger; and a bypass valve connected between the expansion valve and the heat source side heat exchanger. The bypass valve provides a variable amount of liquid refrigerant flowing from the expansion valve to the heat source side heat exchanger. The pressure control device and the bypass valve cooperate with each other to keep a temperature of the compressor below a maximum allowable temperature predetermined for the compressor.

An air handling unit, includes: an outer casing defining an air passage from a first opening on a first side of the outer casing to a second opening on a second side of the outer casing; a first supporting member in the air passage and affixed to the outer casing; a heat-exchanging coil affixed to a surface of the first supporting member facing the second opening; a second supporting member located such that the heat-exchanging coil is located between the first supporting member and the second supporting member; a first connection member connecting the first supporting member and the second supporting member; and insulation material adjacent to the outer casing at least between the first supporting member and the second opening, the insulation material being located between the first connection member and the outer casing, wherein the insulation material is unperforated between the first supporting member and the second opening.
