An isolation section assembly includes a section housing defining an interior space. The section housing includes a door with access to the interior space. The isolation section assembly includes an enclosure abutting the door. The airlock enclosure defines an interior airlock space. The interior airlock space is configured and adapted to be at a negative pressure relative to a cabin area. An air recirculation system in fluid communication with at least one of the interior space of the section housing or the interior airlock space.

Cabin isolation assemblies

A waste compartment system for an aircraft can include a motor operated door and a proximity sensor configured to sense an object near the door or approaching the door. The system can include a control module operatively connected to the proximity sensor and configured to open the door in response to the proximity sensor sensing an object near the door. The control module can be configured to close the door after a preset time after the proximity sensor senses an object.

Waste compartment systems for aircraft

A door assembly including a swinging door, a sealing member pivotally to the door configured to pivot between a first position into contact with the floor and a second position out of contact with the floor, a lever arranged to actuate pivoting movement of the sealing member in response to opening and closing of the door, a biasing member arranged to bias the lever toward a non-actuating position, and a separate deployment stop arranged to actuate the lever.

Door seal assembly

A galley unit with a cart lift is provided for elevated storage of a food and beverage cart. The galley unit includes a mounting rack configured for mounting at least one first galley component thereon. The cart lift includes a platform for supporting a second galley component thereon. The platform is movable between a fully lowered, fully extended position and a fully raised, fully retracted position with the second galley component supported thereon. A support pillar is positioned to one side of the mounting rack and is operable to support and manipulate the platform in a fore-and-aft motion between a fully extended position and a fully retracted position, and in an up-and-down motion between a fully lowered position and a fully raised position. The support pillar may include an operator controlled passive lifting system for assisting manipulation of the platform.

A collapsible galley cart for serving food containers during a flight that is collapsible so that it may be readily stored within a compartment of an aircraft galley unit between uses.
