A hot drinks machine is provided that is configured to perform a cleaning program and a descaling program, both of which require the use of a service function object. The hot drinks machine is formed with a holder for the service function object.

Holder for a service function object

A machine for preparing brewed drinks is provided and includes a brewing compartment for receiving drink substrate portions and a water supply for supplying a pressurized supply of water into the brewing compartment. The water supply is oriented in the brewing compartment in such that it would spray into a user region of the machine if the brewing compartment opens prematurely. However, a safety valve prevents the supplied water from entering into the brewing compartment when the brewing compartment is open.

A fruit juicer includes an additional switch that determines the speed at which the fruit juicer, i.e., the element that receives the fruit to be squeezed out, revolves. A button, disposed on the outer wall of the housing, actuates a microcontroller such that more power is supplied to the electric motor to make it revolve at a higher speed. The inventive fruit juicer, therefore, allows the juice to be squeezed out from the pulp already removed from the fruit.

Juicer

A juicer has a tilting collecting dish that permits simple, loss-free pouring out of the fruit juice. It is unnecessary to remove the squeeze element with which the citrus fruit was pressed and/or the collecting container surrounding the squeeze element, from which the fruit juice drops into the collecting dish. In order to tilt the collecting dish, two opposing projections are provided on the outer side of the jacket wall thereof, which lie rotatably of pivotally in recesses on the inside of the housing wall.

A juicer is driven by an electric motor. The juicer is provided with a centrally-arranged, projecting, upwardly-tapering element, for the pressing of a fruit. The pressing element may be driven by a driveshaft, connected to the element. The driveshaft may be displaced in the axial direction. By pressing downwards on the element, the driveshaft is pressed against a switching means and the electric motor switched on thereby.

A food processor having a drive subassembly is disposed in the housing and coupled to a first and a second output shaft, each output shaft having with at least one coupling location for an attachment and, in addition, by the interposition of a gear mechanism, the output shafts being driven at different rotational speeds. The coupling of attachments requiring relatively small torques is simplified in that, spaced apart at a different level from its one coupling location, at least one of the two output shafts is provided with an additional coupling location for further attachments.

A household appliance, in particular, a kitchen machine, includes a planetary gear disposed between an electric drive unit and an output shaft or drive shaft of the appliance and the stationary toothed ring of which is supported on the housing of the appliance by support arms ( ) projecting radially outwardly on the outer circumference of the toothed ring. Good damping of the noise originating from the planetary gear is achieved by virtue of the fact that an elastic element preventing direct contact between the support arms and the fixing locations is respectively inserted between the support arms and the fixing locations on the housing.

Household appliance

An electrical household appliance, in particular, a food processor, includes a drive motor installed in a housing having at least one bottom and one top housing part. The housing parts are held together by a screw connection. A largely vibration-isolated connection of the two housing parts is achieved by introducing, at the connecting locations, elastic buffer elements that prevent direct contact of the housing parts at the connecting locations.

A food processor includes a drive subassembly disposed in a housing and coupled, in drive terms, to a gearwheel connected, in its axis center, to a first driveshaft, which driveshaft is further provided with a drive pinion for a planet gear associated with the gearwheel and to the planet carrier of which is connected a further driveshaft that encloses the first driveshaft concentrically. The installation of a planet gear does not result in any increase in the overall volume if the gearwheel is cup-shaped and, on its lateral cup surface, has an outer tooth formation, and, furthermore, the fixed toothed ring of the planet gear is a cup-shaped hollow-wheel toothed ring and is inserted concentrically into the cup space of the gearwheel.

The electric food processor has a housing in which there is disposed an electric motor with a motor shaft. The motor shaft, via a gear mechanism, drives three or more concentric output drives at different rotational speeds. The common axis of rotation of the output drives is spaced a distance from the motor shaft. Working tools are selectively coupled to the output drives and the working tools rotate in a working container which is placed on the housing. In order to expand the possible uses of the food processor, the fastest output drive rotates at a speed that is suitable for a mixing tool, and the gear mechanism has at least two sets of input gear teeth that are rotatably mounted independently of each other, so that the fastest output drive can be driven out of direct engagement with the slower output drives.

Electric food processor having at least three mutually concentric output

An electric food processor has a housing in which there is arranged an electric motor with a motor shaft. A belt drives a step-down belt pulley of a vertical first shaft from the motor shaft. The first shaft is disposed vertically in the housing and working tools running in a working container that can be placed on the housing of the food processor can be coupled to the first shaft. A compact and flat construction of the food processor is assured in that the electric motor is aligned horizontally in the housing. The motor shaft rotates about a substantially horizontal axis. An intermediate shaft is mounted essentially vertically in the housing. The intermediate shaft is coupled to the motor shaft with a half-crossed, first belt and, on the other hand, is coupled to the vertical first shaft by an open, second belt. The first shaft is thus driven by the motor through the intermediary of the intermediate shaft.
