A hot or cold runner device for an injection mold includes a distributor block for polymer melts or polymeric liquids such as liquid silicone. The distributor block includes at least one central supply line, at least one melt channel, at least one fluid outlet, and at least one exchangeable deflection and/or distribution insert. The deflection and/or distribution insert has a sleeve and a cone element for deflecting and/or distributing the melts or liquids and is mounted without gaps and without offset at flow channel transitions by a pressing-in process, and the cone element is held in the sleeve in a self-locking manner.

A hot channel device for guiding an incoming hot melt, in particular a plastic melt, to a gate opening of a mould insert of a tool, which gate opening can be opened and closed again by a movable needle, wherein the hot channel device has a first hot channel region, with a coolable melt transfer region, and a second hot channel region, which are arranged one behind the other in the flow direction of the melt toward the mould insert, wherein the coolable melt transfer region has a melt transfer chamber, which is penetrated by the needle, said needle being guided displaceably in a needle channel so as to be sealed by a needle seal, and the needle channel continues in an aligned manner in a melt channel of the second hot channel region.

Hot channel device

The invention relates to a hot runner device comprising at least one needle valve nozzle and a shut-off needle which is movable in the needle valve nozzle by means of a movement means, and comprising an overload protection device for the shut-off needle, characterized in that the overload protection device is implemented as follows: the shut-off needle is connected in at least a first movement direction directly or indirectly to the movement means by at least one frictional connection that can be released when a threshold force is exceeded.

A hot nozzle for spraying of plastic components. The hot nozzle includes a multipart nozzle body including a tip inset including a tip element having a tip section protruding outwardly beyond a circumferential surface of the multipart nozzle body into a molding plate. The tip section of the tip element is penetrated by a shut-off needle which is movable in a reciprocating manner by a drive. The shut-off needle is movable between a position in which the shut-off needle closes off a feed borehole in the molding plate and a position in which the shut-off needle opens the feed borehole.

The nozzle includes a multi-part nozzle body including at least one tip element which protrudes outwardly over a circumferential area of the nozzle body. The multi-part nozzle body further includes a nozzle body clamping disk section and a nozzle body base section having an axial side that has at least one recess arranged on the axial side to accommodate the at least one tip element.

Needle valve nozzle

A hot runner system, in particular a heatable injection nozzle for an injection molding machine or plastics injection mold, includes a central heating rod having opposite ends and defining a longitudinal axis, a sleeve assembly which surrounds the heating rod and is split radially to define first and second sleeves abutting one another, and current-conducting means for feeding an electric current to the sleeve assembly. The heating rod is electrically connected with each end of the sleeve assembly. One of the sleeves is formed at the interface to the other sleeve with a flange which extends substantially parallel to the longitudinal axis and forms at least one flow passageway for melt, whereby the flow passageway is bounded along its entire length by a wall surface made entirely of metal.

An adapter for use with a nozzle manifold of a hot runner injection molding system for fluidly connecting at least two runner sections and thereby distribute and conduct melt to cavities of an injection mold, includes a plug having at least one end face formed with a first opening for fluid connection to one runner section and a cylindrical or conical wall surface formed with a second opening for fluid connection to another runner section and extending at an angle with respect to the one end face, and a force-applying unit so acting upon the plug as to urge the end face and the wall surface into a fluid-tight pressure fit upon mating surfaces of the nozzle manifold.

Adapter for a nozzle manifold of a hot runner system

A needle seal nozzle assembly for a plastics injection machine, injection mold or hot-runner system, includes a housing defining a passageway for feeding a melt from an inlet to an outlet, with housing being formed by a first housing portion having one end facing the inlet, and by a second housing portion facing the other end of the first housing portion and having an interior forming part of the passageway. The first housing portion includes a substantially cylindrical tubular body which defines a fluid channel that forms another part of the passageway and is fluidly connected to the interior of the second housing portion. Received in fluidtight manner between the first and second housing portions is a slide for displacement between a first position in which a fluid flow through the outlet is cut and a second position in which the flow of melt is open through the outlet. The slide has one end formed with a sealing needle for regulating the fluid flow through the outlet and another nozzle-distant end which is acted upon by a drive mechanism for moving the slide between the first and second positions.
