An imaging system for a driver monitoring system, comprising: a mirror element; a camera comprising an imaging sensor, the camera being provided at a back side of the mirror element; and a control unit; wherein the control unit is configured to switch the mirror element from a reflective mode to a transmissive mode when the camera starts to scan a row of pixels of the imaging sensor, and switch the display from the transmissive mode to the reflective mode when the camera moves to a next row of pixels.

Imaging system

A sensor unit including a housing and a contact element movably mounted along a first axis and configured to come into contact with a touch display surface. The contact element is moved along the first axis when coming into contact with the touch display surface. An acceleration sensor is movably mounted in the housing at least along the first axis. A biasing element is located on one side of the acceleration sensor and configured to bias the acceleration sensor in one of two directions along the first axis. The contact element is movably mounted on the other side of the acceleration sensor opposite the biasing element and is coupled to the acceleration sensor to move the acceleration sensor against the bias of the biasing element in the other of the two directions along the first axis when contacting the touch display surface.

A touch panel system is provided, which comprises a display unit, a touch sensor structure and a coverglass. A user touches the coverglass during touch input to the touch sensor structure, and the coverglass is configured to be moved relative to the display unit for providing haptical feedback to the user. Therein, the coverglass is mounted in a predetermined distance d from the display unit such that the coverglass and the display unit are decoupled from each other by an empty space to define opposite internal surfaces, which are coated with an anti-reflecting coating such as a moth eye film.

A display device with adjustable viewing angle is provided, which includes a display unit with a plurality of pixels arranged in a pixel array and emitting light for displaying image information to a user, a plurality of electro-optical lenses with adjustable optical power arranged in a lens array at the display unit, wherein each electro-optical lens is adjustable between a public mode, in which the electro-optical lens is configured to project light from the display unit towards the user within a first viewing angle, and a privacy mode, in which the electro-optical lens is configured to project the light towards the user within a second viewing angle, smaller than the first viewing angle.

A display unit comprising a touch surface touchable by a user, a drive unit for moving the touch surface when the touch surface is touched, in particular for haptic feedback to the user, and at least one damping element, which damps mechanical oscillations of the movement of the touch surface. Each damping element comprises an elastic element and a pressure setting element (for example, a valve). This pressure setting element is designed to fill the elastic element in a variable or settable manner with gas for the damping. The damping properties of the display unit can thus be set arbitrarily via the gas pressure inside the elastic element.
