A switching device is disclosed. In an embodiment a switching device includes at least one fixed contact and at least one movable contact, wherein at least one of the contacts includes a metal matrix composite material having a metallic matrix material and a filler dispersed within the matrix material, and wherein the contacts are arranged in a switching chamber with a gas and the gas contains H2.

Switching device

A relay is disclosed. In an embodiment a relay includes a first contact, a second contact, a movable element arrangeable in a closed position and in an open position; and at least one bimetallic strip, wherein the movable element electrically connects the first contact to the second contact in the closed position, wherein the first contact and the second contact are electrically isolated from each other when the movable element is arranged in the open position, and wherein the at least one bimetallic strip is configured to be deformed upon an increase in temperature such that it presses the movable element against the first and second contacts after deformation.

Relay

A relay is disclosed. In an embodiment a relay includes a magnet armature including a magnetic core and a permanent magnet secured to the magnet armature for identifying a position of the magnet armature.

A microphone having a housing that includes a bottom part and an upper part, and a transducer element arranged in the housing and which is electrically and mechanically connected to the bottom part. For stress-free mounting of the transducer element, a flexible connecting element is proposed, which is pliable and/or compressible, is arranged between the transducer element and the upper part, and connects the transducer element to the upper part. The connecting element includes a plastic, in which gas bubbles are distributed, the gas bubbles having a volume fraction of between 50 and 98% in the connecting element.

A multiple spark-gap arrester is disclosed. In an embodiment the arrester includes a series connection of a plurality of spark gaps between a first potential node and a reference-ground potential node and a trigger circuit having an input and an output, the input being coupled to a second potential node between two adjacent spark gaps of the plurality of spark gaps, and the output being coupled to at least one of the spark gaps between the second potential node and the reference-ground potential node, wherein the trigger circuit is configured, when at least one spark gap between the first potential node and the second potential node is ignited, to supply a trigger signal for the at least one of the spark gaps between the second potential node and the reference-ground potential node.

Multiple spark-gap arrester

A spark gap arrangement includes a triggerable spark gap and a trigger circuit. The spark gap arrangement also includes a first and a second charge storage device, a voltage limiting component, a trigger diode, a triggerable arresting element, and a transformer. The voltage limiting component and the trigger diode are designed to relay an input pulse in a specified voltage range and charge the first charge storage device. Furthermore, the trigger circuit is designed such that the triggerable arresting element is connected via the first charge storage device dependent on the voltage and discharges the second charge storage device via a primary side of the transformer.

Spark gap arrangement

An arrester is disclosed. In an embodiment, the arrester includes a first electrode, a second electrode, a switching contact, a first discharge space between the first and second electrodes and a short-circuiting mechanism suitable for short-circuiting the first and second electrodes and for switching a state of the arrester, wherein, in a first state, at least one electrode of the first and second electrodes is not electrically conductively connected to the switching contact and, in a second state, the at least one electrode is electrically conductively connected to the switching contact.

Surge protection element

A surge arrester is disclosed. In an embodiment the surge arrester includes a first electrode for applying a first voltage potential to the surge arrester, a second electrode for applying a second voltage potential to the surge arrester, and a short-circuiting link for short-circuiting the first and second electrodes. The surge arrester further includes a retaining element for retaining the short-circuiting link, wherein the retaining element is embodied in such a way that it keeps the short-circuiting link at a distance from the first and second electrodes when a temperature is below a threshold value, and it shifts the short-circuiting link such that the short-circuiting link is pressed against the first and second electrodes and a short-circuit is produced between the first and second electrodes when the temperature exceeds the threshold value.

Surge arrester having protection against heating

A spark gap arrangement comprises a triggerable spark gap (TF) and a trigger circuit (TRG), which comprises a first and a second charge store (C, C), a first resistor (R), a triggerable dissipation element (SF, SF, TD, TH) and a transformer (T). The trigger circuit is set up to intermediately store the energy of an input pulse supplied to the input side of the trigger circuit (TRG), wherein storage takes place at least by means of the first charge store (C). A part of the stored energy is transferred to the second charge store (C) via the first resistor (R). The triggerable dissipation element (SF, TD, TH) is set up to turn on on the basis of a voltage across the second charge store (C) and to discharge the first charge store (C) via a primary side (T) of the transformer (T). In this case, a secondary side (T) of the transformer (T) is connected to a main electrode (HE) of the triggerable spark gap (TF) and to a trigger electrode (TE) of the triggerable spark gap (TF).

A surge arrester comprising stacked arrester units is provided that is that is easy to assemble. For that, a surge arrester comprises stacked arrester units, a capacitor, and a resilient element, where the resilient element electrically and mechanically connects the capacitor with a node of the arrester stack.

Stacked gas filled surge arrester

A surge arrester includes a short-circuit device. The short-circuit device includes at least one first base element. The first base element is rigidly connected in an electrically conducting and mechanical manner to a first electrode of the surge arrester. The short-circuit device also includes at least one spring arm arranged on the base element. The free end of the spring arm has a distance to the base element, and the spring arm extends over at least two adjoining electrodes of the surge arrester.

A surge arrester is described which includes at least two electrodes. At least one of the electrodes includes a ventilation channel. The internal area of the surge arrester is connected to an external area of the surge arrester via the ventilation channel, wherein the ventilation channel is closed by means of a fusible element. The fusible element is preferably arranged at that end of the ventilation channel which faces the external area of the surge element.
