An air spinning machine for producing a yarn from a fiber structure includes a spinneret with an internal eddy chamber. A spindle in the spinneret has an intake opening and extends into the eddy chamber. An annular gap is formed between an outside surface of the spindle and an inside wall of the eddy chamber. Air jets in the spinneret introduce air into the eddy chamber to impart twist to the fiber structure at the intake opening. An interior draw-off channel in the spinneret has a longitudinal axis by means of which the yarn is withdrawn from the eddy chamber. The air jets are aligned in a direction relative to a front side of the spindle around the intake opening so that some of the air introduced via the air jets during a spinning operation enters the annular gap and a remainder of the air enters the draw-off channel.

Air spinning machine and a method for producing a yarn

A spinning preparation machine for producing a roving from a fiber bundle includes a vortex chamber having an infeed opening for the fiber bundle and a yarn forming element extending at least partially into the vortex chamber. The spinning station includes spin nozzles, which lead into the vortex chamber in the region of a wall enclosing the vortex chamber and via which air is introduced into the vortex chamber in a specified direction of rotation in order to set the fiber bundle, which is fed in a transport direction, into rotation in the region of an inlet mouth of the yarn forming element. The yarn forming element includes a draw-off channel, which adjoins the inlet mouth and via which the yarn can be drawn out of the vortex chamber. The wall of the vortex chamber has a transition section, which adjoins the infeed opening, and has the shape of the circumferential surface of a truncated cone, and the diameter of which increases in the transport direction. The spin nozzles lead into the vortex chamber in the region of the transition section and each has a direction of flow that is oriented in the direction of an outer surface of the wall enclosing the vortex chamber.

In order to transport a fiber strand to be pneumatically condensed over a suction slit of a condensing zone of a spinning machine, a transport belt is provided which comprises, at least in the effective area of the suction slit, a porous area. The porous area can, for example, be created by dissolving granulate components from a fine-grained granulate blend.

In the case of an open-end spinning machine, threads are wound onto bobbins with random crosswinding. A so-called antipatterning is hereby necessary, which is usually achieved by so-called wobbling. During wobbling, the speed of the winding shaft and/or the speed of the traverse gearing is periodically altered. A first variable speed motor is provided for driving the winding shaft and a second variable speed motor is provided for driving the traverse gearing. A control device controls the variable speed motors and sets the wobble curves. The constant delivery speed of the yarn withdrawal shaft, on which a speed transmitter is disposed, serves as the master speed for the control device.
