The Electric Jetpack Device has multiple electric ducted or clustered electric jets to create enough/sufficient controlled thrust with battery power alone. It is a lightweight vertical take-off with the electrical power of rechargeable batteries for a safe, vertical lift off vehicle. It is capable of carrying an average human or equivalent payload and flying for several minutes per charge. Motors and propellers are powered by the batteries and managed through an Electronic Speed Controller and a flight controller. The Flight Controller balances thrust and limits roll from side to side. By moving the control handles connected and mounted to an aluminum frame, the device and craft is directed. The pivots tilt the cluster of jetpacks slightly forward or back. The frame is connected to a harness, in which the pilot is strapped. The craft is modular and can be connected to another craft creating a 'quadcopter' set-up.

Method for neutralizing explosives and electronics

Disclosed are a system and method for discharging electrical potential into the earth to disable or destroy electronics and/or explosive devices. The disclosed system includes an electrical power supply providing a pulsed electrical potential exceeding 30,000 volts with at least 30 Joules of energy in each pulse. The system includes a cathode emitter and an anode emitter configured to be moved along the earth in close proximity to the earth. The electrical potential is discharged into the earth through the cathode emitter and/or the anode emitter.

Disclosed is a gearbox with two driver gears that are phase shifted 180 degrees with respect to a driven gear so that counter-rotation of the driver gears combine to rotate the driven gear together. The gearbox can be used to couple a counter-rotating, coaxial wind turbine rotors by coupling the driver gears to the counter-rotating rotors and the driven gear to a generator so that the counter-rotating rotors on the wind turbine rotate the driven gear in the same direction. The driven gear can be coupled to a generator to produce electricity.

System and method for neutralizing explosives and electronics

A system for executing a method for neutralizing an explosive device disposed within a targeted area. In operation, an artificial lightning generator of the system generates one or more electric sparks. Additionally, a spinning breakout apparatus of the system spins a spark emission point in a predetermined pattern within the targeted area, and for neutralizing the explosive device, discharges the electric spark(s) into the targeted area via the spark emission point.

A tunable and aimable artificial lightning producing device for tetanizing human voluntary muscle, disabling vehicular electronic ignition systems, and for pre-detonating wired explosives. A spark gap shaping apparatus controls a spark generated by a Tesla coil. A first stage directionalizer warps a normally spherical plasma field from the Tesla coil into an oval plasma field for confining the spark to within that shape. A second stage directionalizer converges multiple beams to successive points just ahead of a plasma field created by the first stage directionalizer without ionizing the beams, thereby maintaining ionization of a path of the spark. The spark is progressively arced to these points, thereby maintaining the path of the spark.
