The invention relates to a belt retractor for a safety belt, having: a belt reel () for winding up the safety belt; a locking base () which during normal operation is conjointly rotated with the belt reel and the rotary motion of which upon abrupt belt extraction is locked by means of a locking mechanism; and a belt force limiting installation which upon locking of the locking base permits relative rotation between the belt reel and the locking base. It is provided according to the invention that the belt retractor has a deactivation installation which after a predefined maximum relative rotary angle between the locking base and the belt reel blocks the relative rotation which is permitted between the belt reel and the locking base by the belt force limiting installation and, on account thereof, deactivates the belt force limiting installation.

Belt retractor

The invention relates inter alia to a sensor (), in particular for triggering a vehicle security device (). According to the invention the sensor () comprises a support element () and a housing part (), which holds the support element (), and the housing part () consists of a softer material than the support element ().

Sensor

A fixing element fixes a part to a support wall. When the fixing element is inserted into an opening in the support wall and reaches a predetermined end position, the fixing element locks to the support wall. The fixing element includes a stop element, a snap-on element, and an unlocking element. The stop element bears against a side of the support wall when the fixing element is locked to the support wall. The snap-on element is positioned on an inner side of the support wall when the fixing element is locked to the support wall. The unlocking element is connected to the snap-on element. The unlocking element is configured to permit the snap-on element to be unlocked and the fixing element to be removed from the opening. An installation tool and a testing tool may be used in conjunction with the fixing element.

Airbag arrangement and tools

A vehicle seat of a motor vehicle is provided. The vehicle seat comprises a backrest which includes a middle part and at least one side bolster, a gas bag module with a folded gas bag, which is at least partly arranged in the side bolster, an adjusting element for adjusting a width of the backrest, which is at least partly arranged in the side bolster and is movable relative to the middle part, by means of which the position of the side bolster relative to the middle part can be varied, and ascot frame extending in the side bolster, which in the vehicle seat mounted in the motor vehicle is aligned along the longitudinal axis of the vehicle. At least part of the folded gas bag is arranged before the seat frame with respect to the longitudinal axis of the vehicle.

Vehicle seats for a motor vehicle

A device for a passenger protection system of a vehicle is provided. The device comprises an oblong gas generator which is formed and provided to provide gas for inflating a gas bag in a case of activation, wherein the gas generator includes at least one firmly arranged stay bolt protruding from the shell surface of the gas generator, and a sleeve-shaped gas conducting element connected with the gas generator, which is formed and provided to divert gas flowing out of the gas generator and introduce the same into a gas bag to be inflated. The gas conducting element is connected with at least one of the stay bolts of the gas generator by means of a bayonet connector For forming a bayonet connector the gas conducting element forms at least one joining channel for the at least one stay bolt of the gas generator and in the region in which it forms the joining channel the gas conducting element at least partly includes a material reinforcement.

Devices for passenger protection systems of a vehicle

An air bag device for a people protection system of a vehicle, having a folded air bag which forms an air bag package having a length and a height. An inlay element, directly connected to and/or placed into the air bag, is provided having a length which essentially corresponds to the length of at least a section of the air bag package and having a height which essentially corresponds to the height of the air bag package. The inlay element is provided and arranged to define the folded air bag regarding its cross-section dimensions and to thereby fix it with desired cross-section dimensions. The inlay element is designed as an elongated flat section and is made of multiple segments, succeeding one another in the longitudinal direction of the air bag. At least one segment of the inlay element has a bore.

Airbag device for a people protection system of a vehicle and a method for producing it

An attachment arrangement is provided. The attachment arrangement includes a mounting structure having an opening, an attachment element to be inserted into the opening for attaching a part to the mounting structure, and a locking element of the attachment element for locking the attachment element to the mounting structure. The locking element is inserted as a part of the attachment element along an insertion direction into the opening in the mounting structure up to an end position and engages behind the opening in the end position such that it prevents removal of the attachment element from the opening and thus locks the attachment element to the mounting structure. The locking element has at least a first section and a second section that rest against the edge of the opening in succession when the attachment element is inserted through the opening.

Attachment arrangement and a tool for locking an attachment arrangement

The invention relates to an airbag, the airbag comprising a tubular area and a filling piece for filling the airbag with gas of a gas generator, wherein the filling piece is formed by putting-over the tubular area of the airbag. In one embodiment, the filling piece is formed by putting-over the tubular area of the airbag in the longitudinal direction, wherein an end of the put-over tubular area faces the airbag interior and said end of the put-over tubular area comprises one or several openings which are arranged to distribute gas inflowing from a gas generator in a targeted manner into the airbag.

An airbag arrangement for a vehicle occupant restraint system is provided. The airbag arrangement comprising an airbag folded into an airbag package, a cover that may be evacuated and encloses the airbag package, a gas generator for inflating the airbag, a receptacle formed by a section of the cover enclosing the airbag package and in which at least one section of the gas generator is housed. The airbag comprising an opening, which forms an inlet to an inflatable area of the airbag and in which the receptacle is arranged at least sectionally or into which the receptacle projects. The gas generator is formed as a tubular gas generator. The opening has a hollow cylindrical area in which the receptacle is arranged, or the opening is formed as a hole in an airbag layer which forms a chamber of the airbag.

Airbag arrangement for a vehicle occupant restraint system

An airbag arrangement for a vehicle occupant restraint system is provided. The airbag arrangement comprising an inflatable airbag for protecting a vehicle occupant, a fastening element for fastening the airbag to a support structure, and means for counteracting a torquing of the fastening element pre-mounted at the airbag, wherein the means comprise an opening through which the pre-mounted fastening element reaches, said opening being designed to counteract a torquing of the pre-mounted fastening element. The opening comprises two sections that cross one another.

A vehicle seat including a backrest which has a middle part laterally confined by side walls; an airbag module arranged in one of the side walls; adjusting means for adjusting the width of the backrest. The adjusting means have an adjusting element, which is arranged together with the airbag module in the side wall and movable relative to the middle part, via which the position of the side wall is changeable relative to the middle part. The adjusting element is connected to a section of the module housing of the airbag module so that the module housing is moved by moving the adjusting element.

Vehicle seat for a vehicle

The disclosed roof-lining module is used for installation in a motor vehicle. The roof-lining module comprises a roof-lining covering for covering an inside of a motor vehicle roof skin, wherein a side of the roof-lining faces the vehicle floor; and an airbag module secured on the roof-lining covering with at least one gas generator. The gas generator extends longitudinally over at least a partial region of the roof-lining covering.
